High quality laptop that won't let you down. I use it primarily for college assignments and for making music. Apple lives up to its name with this product. Looking at purchasing a second one as a gift.

The open box Macbook Pro i received was perfect. Until the battery died and it took 2 days to recharge. The Magsafe connector onlynworked when it was turned on. Poor quality.

I will be brief. It does not come with a port to charge your phone or other items. You have to purchase an adapter to access other items. Ours was never able to charge. We did send it back.

Within two weeks was locked out of new Mac Pro. Bestbuy techs seemed to have no idea what to do. Wanted me to take a Ninty Mile trip to an apple store. Still do not have my Mac back.

Received a defective piece, it was restarting and had a hardware issue.

This is not the latest model so don’t waste your money! Also, Best Buy doesn’t tell you that you only have 15 days to return this.

Fragile screen that can randomly crack - costs $730 to fix. No complaints about anything else, but it is not worth the cost.

I had just bought Macbook Air when this went on sale for 1749 so ended up returning MBA for this laptop. For the sale price, it made sense as it came with 14” 500 nits screen, noticeably better speakers, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD as default. However, to be honest, the day to day performance isnt that much faster than the base MBA - single core performance is the same, just the multicore is a bit faster, especially with the base binned version. It is however noticeably bulkier than MBA and the battery life is somewhat shorter as well. If you can get this on sale then it makes sense, but at full price I wiuld recommend an MBA over this.

Unprofessional , no good support when product are missing through the mistake of delivery guy

We purchased this MacBook for graphic design classes. It has absolutely done everything needed for class. The battery life on the M series processor chips is crazy long, to, which means you can easily make it though a full day of classes on one charge.

The 14 and 16" pros are great for people seeking a lot of power and great battery life. The M1 Pro and M1 Max are truly game changers. The 14" default base model is more than enough for major of people. Infact the 13" M1 is more than powerful. These new models bring in slew of new features to complement the boost power of the new M1 Pro and Max processors - Mini LED Display, higher resolution, 120Hz Pro-Motion, ports, all new design. L love the curves and when you hold one, it feel super premium. They are a tad bit heavier than 13" MacBook due to higher active cooling technology - so something to bear in mind. The display is something to truly admire - perfect black levels and OLED level performance. The MagSafe charger is also pretty cool. I truly missed it and this was a great move from Apple. It remains super silent and fans do not kick on for all the tasks I do.

Waste of money, it runs slow and dies fast , now they won’t let me return it

I absolutely LOVE my MacBook Pro. I had a Lenovo with pretty good specs but it couldn’t even handle Photoshop and Lightroom. This runs it so smooth with no issues at all. The screen resolution is amazing. The battery life is also amazing. It’s literally the best laptop I’ve ever owned.

A high performing laptop for basic programming for student

The m1 processor in machine is extremely fast. It has cut my production times in less than half in comparison to my 2017 iMac. Some tasks even faster than that. One of the tests I did allowed me to process a file that would have normally take about an hour down to about 7 minutes.
