I bought this in 2022 and so far it's been holding up great. I shoot a lot of 4k video and edit a lot of photos and this laptop does it all with no hiccups. If youre in the market for an affordable, robust and reliable laptop, this is the one to get

great to use, large screen and ample memory card.

This is my first MacBook and I absolutely love it. The experience is faaarrr superior to that of Windows! I am not using it for any advanced processing however, it is very fast and I have only had one issue with an app not wanting to close/closing slowly. Depending on what you are doing, the battery lasts all day without needing to be charged again. I can work for 8 hours and play for even longer without having to worry. Once charged, it holds its charge if you are not using it. I've left it off the charger expecting to come back to a low/dead battery but it was still fully charged. For those on the fence regarding not having a number pad, I am adapting quickly to not having one. Also, those used to a PC, typing on the Macbook's keyboard requires a slightly altered hand placement...I keep wanting to place my hands further to the left and keep mistyping, lol.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! This is an amazing machine. I opted for the 16" and I'm thankful that I did. If I flew frequently, the 14" would have been more convenient for tray table-working. However, I realized that that I only fly a handful of times each year, so the daily use convenience factor outweighs that the other 345 days of the year.

This is my fourth MacBook Pro and it is without a doubt my favorite! I’ve had this Mac a year and have never heard the fans! On every other MacBook I’ve owned, the fans are crazy loud. On this, I’ve never heard them. It feels solid and is overall a great and fast computer.

Beautiful form factor. Powerful and FAST! Terrific battery life. The display is the best I've ever viewed (check out 8k videos on YouTube and even non tech savvy folks will be wowed). The keyboard is a joy to use. Compiled large projects in Xcode very quickly.

Using this laptop made me convert from my PC purely because of the power that's packed into this is the voice as well as the battery. Outlet is regular PC 2 to 1 depending on the applications. And I like the durability of the device.

Great screen with accurate color, very capable for basic programming tasks including some AI model training. Awesome all day battery life under normal use.

Fast and smooth operation. The battery life is outstanding. The screen is bright and detailed. It’s very fast and I am sure can do a lot of heavy duty video editing. Also I was impressed by the construction and durability.

This is my first Mac computer. Been a windows user all my life and let me say that this has changed everything for me. I use an ipad and iphone for work. The macbook pro 16 has streamlined my work flow to the point that I have no idea why I didn't male this switch earlier. Absolutely amazing. This has to be the fastest running laptop I have ever been around. The most impressive part is the battery life and charge speed. Doing research online and playing youtube videos, I can run about 6 to 8 hours on a full charge. Once charge is needed, it charges from below 20% to 100% in less than a hour. Also loved the people at best buy. I have deep knowledge of computers due to my career and felt like they were on the same level as me with knowledge. The only thing I wish I could get the 16" display on a lesser model because I don't believe I need this much processing. power.

This is simply a great computer. With a solid build, beautiful screen and fantastic sound it is a winner on all fronts. I almost forgot, it is lighting fast and can go days with out being plugged in. Yes, hours and hours of use for days on end........

My wife has her own Photography and Graphic Design business and had a 2016 16” MacBook Pro. The battery was horrible in her old and I’m pretty sure you could cook food on the bottom of it after she was done working in Lightroom and Photoshop. I did research and found that these new 2021 M1 Pro chip versions would be a great upgrade. Laptop has been amazing! Battery lasts forever and I have yet to hear the fan kick in or any excessive heat while she’s doing the photography basics. Only downfall is we used to use a Spyder Pro for calibrating the screens for proper color corrections. This new M1 Pro variant with the Liquid XDR no longer allows that. Being in a photography and graphic design job you really rely on proper color representation. MacBook Pro has always had great color representation so I hope the “Apple” collaboration is sufficient. Testing print output will be the final check.

Just the addition of ports and magsafe….amazing! The lage screen is amazing and provides me with the ability to see my work schedule seamlessly! No lag on doing major projects either. Would highly recommend!

I've been using this computer for 2 years now. I bought it out of necessity when my older MacBook bit the dust (after more than 14 years). I am SO glad I went for more GB and the 16" screen. I do a lot of photo editing on this thing and couldn't be happier.

I decided to purchase a new MacBook Pro to run LightRoom Classic for photo editing. This was after using a PC laptop for two years which I now regret. The MacBook Pro was hard to find and the only place I could find the 16 inch version in stock was at Best Buy. I've had the machine for about a month now and it's great. It processes my RAW photos with no problems and zero latency. I initially wondered if 16GB of RAM would be enough but, so far, I've had no problems. The M1 Pro chip seems to be pretty robust. Battery life is fantastic. I ran it for for several hours web surfing, looking at photos, etc and the battery didn't get below 90%. I don't like not being able to upgrade the HD or the RAM but that's the only draw-back I can come up with for the MacBook Pro.
