I needed a new MacBook Pro. My other one lasted for 12 1/2 years with no complaints.

Machine is fast and really works great when your using an iPhone for your cell phone. It tires in beautifully. Also the screen is just gorgeous. I find the machine works as fast as my Dell even on Windows programs using Parallels. Only issue is getting used to Apple when I’ve been a Windows guy all my life, but it hasn’t been difficult.

As a very long time apple user I can recommend anything from their line of Apple Silicon Laptops, at first I wasn’t so sure and ran into app comparability issues with arm64. Post 2023 has been a very user-friendly experience.

It is a little chunky but a very efficient laptop for my workflows. If you own a 16” MBP, this doesn’t bring a lot to the table. It got rid of the digital Touchbar and introduced a notch, typical Apple! I just wanted the latest and greatest and bestbuy additional year AppleCare+ For total tech members is a fine touch. Overall, impressed with the battery life and the display quality.

I enjoy using the MacBook Pro. It’s easy to use and I like the features. I also got a good deal on the price.

Great machine , super fast. The image is so very clear. I am able to run Xcode programs really quickly

Mac book is awesome I have property business and always on road in ocean city with having that on site I’m able to write up quotes and have them sent to client asap. When designing thing I can make changes and have client next to me while I’m doing it

Excellent computer device easy to use functionality

Best laptop I've ever owned, hands down. This thing is absolutely amazing. I was hesitant to upgrade from a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" i9 I purchased last year, and this thing is so, so, so, SO much better. The screen is better. The speakers are better. The camera is better. The battery life is way better. The thermals are better. I have zero regrets. Just get it already!

So this may end up being the anti-review review but to start off with the form factor it feels like Apple went backwards with this one. Yes there were many detractors of the previous MacBook but once I got used to the lack of ports I adapted. Now they've released this boxy weighty thing with ports I rarely use like the SD card slot. I also loved MagSafe and didn't like that it was taken away but again, I adapted. Beyond all the ergonomics and looks, this is my first M1 Macbook and man it runs great. Keyboard feels good and I don't miss the touch bar, at all. The extra screen real estate will be nice going forward also.

Absolutely love this laptop. I've owned a series of MacBooks, MacBook Pros, iPad models (base, mini, pro, etc), iMacs and I've always been disappointed in the processing power when it had intel chips and disappointed in the graphics since processing power were so limited and had no real world potential unless you paid $1k+ more to have decent graphics and a laptop that burned your lap from over heating. This MacBook Pro by far is the complete opposite of those intel version. Graphics, awesome. ARM chip, awesome. Battery life, extremely awesome. No overheating on my lap, should have been part of our expectations with the intel models too. The one issue I have that I think it could be resolved through software updates or when apps are more optimized for ARMS is memory leakage or too much memory being used up when i don't have much installed or open. 16gb ram is okay, but I wish Apple would authorize Best Buy to sell custom or at least additional 16gb ram addon. But other than that, nothing else I have a problem with. Still rating 5 stars because apps still need to figure out the bugs for ARMS and MacOS to do the same but this is to be expected. Still better than Windows.
