Beautiful display, superfast processing, great streaming. Gotta get apps that support the M1 chip. The x86 emulation slows things down. Great Mac Book. If you need x86 virtualization, this is not it and Windows, this is not it, but if you're all in with Mac OS and Apple ecosystem, it's a great laptop.

I got this as a replacement for an HP Omen 16" gaming laptop with an Intel i7 processor. There was a slight discount on the price so I went for the 1TB SSD, but was intending to get the M1 Pro chip. I use this for work as a designer, working with Adobe CC software (Photoshop, etc.). Extremely quick and enables AI calculation abilities not available pre-M1 chip. The battery goes down 50% after about 8 hours of work. For me, using an external ergonomic mouse is crucial, as the work I do cannot be done using the touchpad. Also, the TouchID began to fail to read my fingerprint after a few weeks. I need to reset that. There are functions on this MacBook I haven't begun to explore yet, as I have used Windows PCs for a long time. I do use a Mac in office, and use the MacBook Pro when working remote. It features slightly thick, flat edges and even though is listed at 4.7 lbs, doesn't feel feather light. Even so, it is much lighter than my previous few 16" Windows laptops. Screen graphics are brilliant and vivid. I anticipate this MacBook Pro will be a great investment for a number of years.

So far I’m satisfied with my purchase. The speakers are amazing, the batter life is phenomenal, and the screen resolution is wonderful. The only issue I have is the price. Although it was $200 off the listed price, when I purchased it, it’s still insanely pricey.

Just replaced my 10 year old MacBook Pro. New computer is fast and new color options is nice as well.

Very good laptop much improved from the last generation especially the keyboard. Speed is on another level. Display is amazing I prefer to watch shows/sports on this then my 32 inch tv. Best laptop I have owned, only small downside is the silver is a magnet for fingerprints so keep a cloth, case or get the space grey.

Got this Mac book to record demos for my music and I love it, very easy to handle and use

I’ve been mostly PC using HP laptops which are still great, but I wanted to try the M1 chip. Now for over a year of using my mac, I can say it has been great for music and video production. It took me about a week or so to get used to the OS and the different names for the keys on the keyboard but overall it was worth it.

This is an amazing device! Fast! The screen is beautiful! Plenty of storage and power for my work.

So I kept hearing how amazing the new M1 chip was and I've was overrdo for an upgrade anyway but I wanted a bigger screen than the 13 inch so I waited and I'm really glad I did. This is the most amazing computer I've ever used! If you're on the fence, just get it, you only live once and life is too short to be on a slow, crappy computer.

Thus far, this Mac is performing great, as expected. Fast and easy to get around on. The battery life is even better than our MacBook from about a year ago, and the display is very nice. I am glad that the screen size has been increased to 16 in. Our "old" MacBook was a 17 in size, which was great to use for the older eyes.

This is a great laptop. Runs like a dream and it is portable for my music projects

It’s more than fast enough for browsing, working on documents, and making light photo and video edits, and it has an excellent high-resolution screen, a great trackpad, a totally silent fanless design, and a reasonable price. Its battery life is excellent, long enough to survive through a full day of work or classes and then some.

Awesome computer. It’s my firs Apple computer though. So, I have nothing to compare it to as far as that goes. However, I had no idea what I was missing by not having an Apple computer paired with my iPhone that I’ve had for years along with an Apple Watch. They compliment each other so well. I can move between them seamlessly. I’m still learning how , to use a Mac though. YouTube has become my best friend as of late. LOL

Large screen and track pad. Excellent sound quality. Great laptop overall.

This is one of the best lap tops I have owned! I love the large screen, sharp color detail and has great speed. I bought this for school and it does not disappoint. If you are an Apple product fan this lap top is for you, if you have never tried Apple- give it a go and see for yourself what you have been missing out on.

I had been in need of a new computer as mine would no longer update and would not allow me onto many sites. I'm thankful I was able to wait for the new Apple MacBook Pro. Service at Best Buy was awesome. All of my questions were answered, the salesperson was knowledgeable and patient, and I left with a new computer in hand.
