The new Apple M1Pro chio really delivers

Apple's new chips have really separated this generation of all their computers from prior years. I bench-marked this base model of the new MacBook Pro against that of my frien whose boss bought him a loaded machine with the fastest chip set and maxed out RAM. No noticeable difference.

2021 Macbook Pro 16"

Replacement for a Mid 2015 MacBook Pro

I like the slightly larger 16"screen and that they brought back the side SD slot and Touch ID to sign in. New style USBC outlets on computer require that you purchase adapter cables if you want to plug into USB drives/flash drives.

This laptop has a lot of power to it, I was a little worried as it is considered mid grade due to some of the specs, however the M1 Pro chip has been able to handle my design programs and more effortlessly. I look forward to creating with this laptop for a very long time!
