Great laptop. Vibrant color, Great sound while watching movies. The only thing negative I can say about it is that it’s very heavy. Not a problem if you leave it on a table. Carrying it will definitely build your muscles. It doesn’t get hot which is great. Battery life is amazing.

This machine is a total game changer! Let's address the speakers first, the sound is immersive especially when listing to tracks mastered in Atmos. The display is vibrant and bright with deep blacks. Performance is lighting fast using demanding programs.

This new MacBook Pro is really excellent. I am very pleased that it has more ports. The screen is very high tech. The battery is longer acting than my old model. It is admittedly bigger and heavier so I take my old model when I go out of town.

Fast and easy process! The greeter (unknown) was kind and escorted me to the area for pick up. This was extremely helpful because I’ve never been to this location before. The cashier was very kind and even threw in a couple of jokes to pass the time. My item was on hold, so there was a small wait. He handled it in the best fashion and I was happy with the visit!

I had been waiting for Apple to introduce the new M1 chip in the larger MacBook Pro models for some time. My old 2010 MacBook Pro 17" was getting very long in the tooth. It had been dead reliable for 12+ years but was getting very slow. It is my understanding the newer OS releases will start focusing on features in the M1 chipset and Intel based MacBooks won't be able to support the newer features which is why I was waiting for M1's in the larger MacBook series. I bought the 16" inch version with 16 gig of memory and the 512 gig SSD. Setup was very easy to do and transferring information from the old MacBook was straight forward. I was up and running in a couple of hours. The M1 Pro MacBook is very fast and I have experienced no issues to date. I also loaded Microsoft Office without issue and the system response is great. I hope the MacBook Pro proves as reliable as my old 2010 version was. Apple products are pricey but the construction, performance and reliability are very good. In my experience, similar Windows laptops are nearly as expensive as Apple.
