Good game, just like the movie I like this game it's awesome

Typical open world game. Fun, but not as good as others.

Repetitive game. Should have made the game for PS3

I've played a lot of games and this game was a refreshing break from the normal games that are coming out these days. I watched all the Mad Max series right before this game launched and amazingly there is a lot of movie content in the game. If you watch the movies again you will see a lot of little easter eggs with the vehicle's hood ornaments. Even when you customize Max you will see a lot of little features from the movies. This game reminds me of a cross between the fighting styles of batman, the open world content of far cry 4. Pros: -Beautiful Scenery -Bloody, Extreme, Exciting Fights (takedowns, slow motion damage# -Explosions #basically everything blows up# -Vehicle Customization #over 10 different performance categories, over 10 different categories for visual upgrades# -Tons of Content #towers, snipers, forts, pumping stations, top dogs aka boss fights, convoys, etc..# -Open World #endless driving seriously# -Fast Travel -Easter Eggs #Mad Max Series# -Good Scripting/Characters Cons: -Dog missions #I know Mad Max had a dog in the second movie, but this is tedious and time consuming# -Wasteland enemy vehicles run away when damage -Scrap from killing an enemy on the road is not worth the time -Handling on the vehicles #can be upgraded later# -Controls #takes about four hours to get use to. I was jumping out of the vehicle every time I tried using NOS/Boost# -Ability to craft consumable weapons #shivs, explosive sticks# -Fighting is not realistic and repetitive #enemies waiting to attack one by one, predictable attack moves) Bottom line: Great job Avalanche and WB Games. I will defiantly recommend to a friend. Great change in pace of the current games on the market.

I was disapointed with this game it was entertaining but only for a small period of time. It fizzled out very quickly.

Didn't know what I was getting when I bought the game. I was surprised that in fact it was a fun experience. Open world, great graphics, the storms within the game are quite fun. If your into the GTA type of games, you'll fit right in. Ton's to explore and missions to conquer. Overall, a really good fun game with lot's of hours to waste on. Would recommend to any Mad Max fans or GTA style fans.

This game is great! I have only played 4 hours of the storyline so far but have been side tracked doing all these different side missions. It's open world and you can steal any vehicle, fight almost anyone and take over areas for your benefit. I think my favorite is shooting a harpoon at another driver and pulling them out of that vehicle. Graphics, gameplay and storyline are really great.

I'm going on 50+ hours now of playing Mad Max on my PS4, and I STILL have a third of the game left to finish! Both the combat and driving controls are really solid, and fans of Batman/Shadow of Mordor/Grand Theft Auto will enjoy this game without a doubt. I had to take off a star because the game can be buggy at times, but it rarely takes away from the fun of the game and can often be fixed by simply restarting your system. Mad Max has been fairly easy overall, but there will undoubtedly be moments when you're searching youtube for guidance on where to find something. The story and characters will have you entertained to say the least. "Chumbucket" is the creepiest yet most entertaining thing I've seen in quite awhile. Something for everyone here...... BUY AND ENJOY.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Mad Max game. It was highly anticipated, but the initial reviews were lukewarm, complaining of repetitive gameplay. I took a chance on it and I was pleasantly rewarded. I thought the gameplay was quite varied. The experiences of driving and vehicle combat are very different form the on foot, melee combat; both lots of fun. There is an interesting upgrade system that makes you always feel like you're investing and getting more powerful. The story is so-so, but decent enough. I recommend giving it a look if you're considering it.

I bought this game during black Friday sale and I do not regret it. This game surprised me. Graphics and the game mechanics are good. The combat remembered me Batman arkham and shadow of mordor and it is pretty fun specially when you have more skills. The driving part is pretty good also and there are a huge variety of cars to drive. The combat when driving is also pretty entertaining to me. This is an open world and you have a little bit of repetitive missions but I did not mind. There are a lot of things to do and be ready to looking for a lot of scraps ;)

This game is stunning. You have to get used to not being able to jump at first. The graphics are great. The fighting is fun. Ammo is sparse. The music and everything is great. Building up your car and taking over zones is fun. Seeing your footprints in the sand as you walk is oddly satisfying. The audio is crazy. If you have a 5.1 or any theater, use it. Hearing the sand as you walk sounds so good. Great game.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Mad Max, especially since I'm completely unfamiliar with the lore. The combat in the game works very well, and is quite familar to combat in the Batman Arkham series. Vehicular combat is also great in the game and one of the most innovative things about Mad Max. I thought the games missions were designed very well; a lot of times I end up with open world fatigue in the 2nd half of these style of games, but with Mad Max I was able to get through the end without ever being bored.

If you loved the new Mad Max movie reboot and are a gamer, you're going to love this game. It's an open world sandbox style game. Right from the start you get to explore and do whatever you want. This game captures the feel of the movie perfectly. There are countless character and vehicle upgrades that you unlock as you level up and progress through the game. The combat is awesome both in and out of your vehicles. With a huge amount of quests, you'll be busy for weeks on end.

I bought this game on Black Friday for $20 and definitely got my money's worth. Although slow to start, it's open world is fun to explore and collect everything! The story is very minimal, but has a powerful ending! I recommend this to anyone who likes Mad Max, Batman: Arkham games, or Assassin Creed.

This game came during the busy holiday season so many overlooked it. It's a great game and buyers will not regret catching up on it. It is not based after the movie and includes a different story. The gameplay is based on taking over territories and combining character and vehicle combat.

I will keep this one simple: Both vehicular and hand-to-hand combat are an absolute blast, and the sandy wasteland looks absolutely amazing. Story is rather simple, but so we're the Mad Max movies. It has always been about the thrilling action and this game does not deviate from these roots. My only complaint was that I wished the character could interact with the environment a little bit more as many times I wanted to climb something (easily reachable) but was unable to do so. At first everything felt a little sluggish but I grew to love the controls. Give it a go if it drops to $35 or less imo, hard to be disappointed in that price range.

Good story, but "open world" is very repetitive...the side missions are all the same over and over again. But the main missions and story is really cool.

This game got mixed reviews online but I would ignore them and pick it up. Great open world gameplay and a lot of fun. Graphics are really good as well.

The world in this game is just massive and immersive. I got lost in this game a few times and that's a good thing. Being lost in this world works to add to the atmosphere of the game.

I played this game for over 3 hours and checked out the great views on multiple websites. This game is a hit with great graphics and game play. If you want a great game get this one.
