The game is more in depth then any other EA game besides maybe Fifa but that is their two biggest marketable games so it is understandable. The game has to receive five stars because there is nothing to compare it to Ea has a monopoly over most sport games.

Defensive encroachment shouldn't happen while you're in the huddle, right? Twice that has happened. Too many one-handed grabs by EVERYONE! Three catch types that can be implemented on each catch; possession, RAC (run after catch) and aggressive. Unwieldy to use at first. Possession catches make the receiver fall down. That has cost me several first downs, because the 'A' button receiver runs a slant, you throw him the ball, and because the timing between the pass with 'A' and the possession catch, which is also 'A', the receiver falls down short of the First Down. Very frustrating so far. It looks pretty though. Would I recommend to a friend, YES but only if they'd played Madden before.

The current dev team have done a good job of trying to right the ship on this franchise. Its the best playing Madden in a long time, but alot of legacy issues still exist. Draft champions is a fun mode would def recommend everyone checks that out.

I stopped buying Madden because it was getting repetitive. Then Marcus got drafted by the Titans and it's epic to play a Hawaii boy in Madden. You can even play as Marcus and go through an entire Career with him. Super fun and presentation is gorgeous!

The biggest change this year is the new catching mechanics. As a long time player, it is a big change that has made things very difficult in the passing game. With time, it may be a welcome addition to give more possible results to each play, but it has definitely led to a lot of frustration initially.

At first, I'm not gonna lie, I hated the gameplay. After playing a few games though it's really not that bad. The only thing I don't like about it is the new fantasy draft layout. They should have stuck with the old much easier to navigate layout.

There are a couple of extras to passing and catching, but all in all, not much different than the last couple of Maddens. Tackling seems a little more realistic. I would definitely recommend picking this one up if you are a Madden or football fan!

Visually this game is fantastic. I haven't owned a Madden title in a few years but a quick run through the tutorial got me on track and I was able to jump right into online games and be competitive. Lots of fun modes really ups the replay value.

I brought this game for my boyfriend & he loves it. The only problem he has with it is the fact that we have to cut the wifi off on our phones just for him to play online & he still sometimes loses connection despite the fact that they said this wouldn't be a problem with the release of this game.

First let me begin with giving EA credit for beautiful graphics & some improved gameplay. My major beef with this game is the stripped down presentation when playing online. They also strip certain gameplay options from online play.

If you enjoy football chances are you will enjoy this Madden as well. I really enjoy the new draft mode. I slightly dislike the new receiving mechanic, if you are throwing a bullet pass you may not have the opportunity to choose RAC, high point catch or normal before the ball gets to you.

Some new gameplay dynamics that make it seem fresh in the passing game. Nothing really that innovavtive but its Madden and its fun to play with people on the coach or online. If you love football and past Maddens you'll enjoy it.

The running mechanics are way better than the last two versions of the game. I may be the minority in saying this, but I miss the traditional Superstar mode instead of having it in the Connected Careers mode. And dumb point.... but why is ODB the only player in the game with Tattoos?

I haven't played Madden in almost a decade. I thought I would try with trade in promo. I played for about 5 days. I experienced phantom players. clock out glitches and after I won the Superbowl I went onto the draft. While in the draft I had to do an errand and I went to save the save corrupted not only my season but all my Madden stats. They said they would work on it but if I had more patience for them to fix everything I would have. An employee said they never fix everything and there are usually a few left over. Wish my store had an employee in the area to ask about such things. I made out after trading it in so not too worried.

I purchase this game for my husband and he hasn't stop playing since he got it. He stays in practice mode and online for suggestions. The quality of the players is great and other features that 15 didn't have make it so much better

I have been playing madden since 1999 and It's been GREAT. Unfortunately, last year Madden users complained so much about glitch plays, game speed, and difficulty to stop speedy receivers, that Madden tried to fix wayyyyy too many things this year. As a long time Madden player, this madden is very different, I understand their objective and its good, but you now have to press three different buttons to complete a perfect pass. It's almost like performing a fatality move in Mortal kombat ( combination of buttons) , which really take away from the skill and knowledge of the user. Overall, its more realistic, but they have to clean up the penalties, deep ball, excessive drop balls, and a few other things in their patch, which should be release very soon. Good Luck everyone!

I bought this game about a week after it was released. I found it entertaining but too similar to older games. There are a few new features but all in all it's still the same game. I feel if you have madden 15 or madden 25, you don't need to buy this. Still a great game though!

Fantasy Champions is a cool new game mode, graphics look about the same, same playbooks, online matches you with an opponent automatically so you can't choose the team you play against, if you learn to time the deep ball right it's basically a glitch and you catch it every time

I've always been a fan of the Madden gaming franchise. I remember playing Madden '99 on my PlayStation 1. I really don't get why so many more of my friends seem to be into 2K basketball, but I'd take this over that any day.

Bought this as a surprise gift for my bf on the night release he loved it and Customer service in stroudsburg pa was excellent! I even walked out with a laptop purchase very happy about both purchases thank you best buy team
