When I brought it home and loaded it to my console it didn't want to work was disappointed.

I have played the Madden series since the old Sega Genesis, and there have been some good editions throughout the years. I thought Madden had gotten very stale since the 2005 edition. This one is a complete football sim game. Don't get me wrong it still plays like a madden game but this year's edition has a depth I haven't seen in years. The advanced passing mechanics, and advanced abilities at nearly every position do a much better job in my mind simulating the true game of football.

I had been away from Madden for a few years, but found it easy enough to pick right back up. The controls allow for quite a bit more involvement in ever aspect of a play, with multiple throw types and catching actions. Franchise mode is as great as ever, although orchestrating trades continues to be a hassle if you don't want to throw around all your big name players. Ultimate Team mode is a great addition, especially the scenarios. I miss the superstar mode of the past, where you bring along a single player from the draft through his career.

Loading times are horrible, game is sluggish and glitchy. Draft Champions mode is interesting. The constant MUT microtransaction ads are annoying, as is asking me to share anything on social media. And as is usual, don't expect anything groundbreaking from EA. Marginal graphics updates, Aggressive, RAC and possession catch options...that's about it. Man, I miss the days before EA had an exclusive license to the NFL and NFLPA.

Madden 15 was a huge improvement from Madden 25 and I didn't think Madden 16 would be worth the upgrade but with the improvements to passing a receiving it is great. I love being able to tell my WR on a 3rd down curl route to secure the ball for the first down. That always drove me crazy on previous versions! So far this is worth the upgrade!

Better graphics, smooth game play, and the preorder bonus is a plus.

In the past I would buy Madden and play it for a month or two and then stop. I can't stop playing this year's version on the Playstation 4. EA did a really good job with this game. I finally enjoy Madden more than the old NCAA Football games. I recommend this game to everyone who asks me.

Madden NFL 16 is definitely a step up from the last few years. The new pass catch dynamic adds something new and fresh, and the tutorials are extremely well done. An excellent buy for me, took advantage of the Madden $30 trade in offer. Cost me $10, a steal for such a great game!!!

This Madden is even better than last years game. The new QB and pass catching features are great and the graphics improved a lot from Madden '15. The players seem to move more like humans instead of robots! Buy this game if you are a video game sports fan! Great play!

The graphics are great. The gameplay is on another level compared to older maddens. I been playing NCAA football since 2005 so to come back and play madden for the first time in 2015 I am mad i didn't play it earlier.

This Madden game is a great return to form after a couple of missteps. The new throwing and catching gameplay options add a unique twist to the gameplay. Madden Draft Championship is an addicting and fun game mode that really keeps the game fresh.

Graphics are really nice and glad they updated the madden ultimate team and connected franchise. More updates which is a plus. Solid game overall better than past games EA has made for the franchise.

The changes and improvements this year are actually pretty welcomed. No major missteps IMHO, which is nice. Online multiplayer works great as long as all players' connections aren't terrible.

This game is basically like all the other football games and that's all there pretty much is to it. The graphics got better and there are a few new things and of course new players. Overall a better football game then the others.

My kids love this and get the game every year. Each year the graphics just get better and better, I think that's why they love it. Same Madden, doesn't disappoint.

I'm loving the game play on this year's Madden. They have fixed a lot of problems from the past. Only complaint is one too many spectacular catches.

I thought I would give madden another try after five years of skipping it. I have to say they finally made some improvements to make it worth playing.

These games are incredible. The graphics and sound is amazing. Plus I like you can make your own team.

Loved the graphics and the trainers to get you back in the game. Franchise mode was fun as well.
