Maybe like that old game blitz football or something along that line

Plan on spending a few hours downloading and setting this up.

I like the graphics, the game provides hours of entertainment

The franchise needed a significant improvement from Madden 25, which was full of glitches and would freeze up constantly. The gameplay on this version is smooth, the announcers are on key with gameplay, and the controls provide for additional features, such as the level of aggressiveness used to pursue a catch. The game is excellent and provides for hours of fun.

This is by far the best and most realistic Madden I have ever played. The part that improved the most is the passing and catches as well as interceptions, just cause a guy tipped it in the air dosent mean its just gonna fall to the ground anymore, the computer will dive for it and do some crazy things just to catch it!

Overall weak game and doesn’t have good gameplay. I won’t recommend this game to anyone. Suck!!!!

The one great thing about this game is the graphics keep getting better. Can't get over how realistic this game looks. And once I got XBox live Gold, it updated the players faces to be more realistic. There is a couple of negatives about the newest release of Madden...... To speed up the game, EA sports has removed the coin toss. So there is no choosing heads or tails, and if you won, you don't get to choose if you want to receive or kick the ball. And then the biggest thing is, I have yet to find a way to skip the replay between plays. All previous versions, you were able to click a button on the controller, and it would skip the replay and just go to the next down. Very annoying, when you just want to get on with the game. I don't understand why EA sports removed the coin toss to save time, but makes you watch the replays. This adds alot more time to the game than a coin toss. Putting those couple of negatives to the side, this is still a fun game to play.

This is my first Madden purchase in almost a decade. The game has changed a lot and there is so much to see and do. Overall the game plays well and is enjoyable. There is just one thing I would like to point out for people who are considering this purchase. When you play Franchise mode, the game recommends storing your game saves in the cloud for faster load times and a few other benefits. I followed their recommendation and for the most part, had no issues for about a week and a half. Then, in the middle of one of my best games, I get an alert telling me that my connection to the EA servers has been lost and my stats and scores from this game won't count. What?!?!? I finished the game just to see what would happen and I have to play that whole game over. If you're going to play Franchise mode, I would recommend saving your games locally to your hard drive instead of using the cloud. A quick Google search also revealed many other users experiencing this issue.

Ordered this game 2 weeks ago and still waiting thanks a lot Best Buy. Hope I get it by Christmas 2018

I have been a Madden player for over 20 years and this is by far the best! I love the different options to catch and defend passes. It is the most realistic football game I have played as well.

Madden 16 is a game for people of all ages. After all, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rates it “E” for everyone. It is reassuring to have a popular game for all ages, especially with the game industry leaning towards bloody and gory games. I am evaluating how Madden’s core features stand after another year, and how the new content has improved the game from previous versions. EA Sports retains most of their Madden Customers because they update the team rosters on a week-by-week basis. Gamers get a lifelike playing experience when they can watch their team on TV and then the next day play with that exact team on Madden. Features like Gauntlet Mode and Ultimate team have not changed but are still fairly new features. Improvements definitely could haven been made, i.e. new boss mode levels for Gauntlet Mode would have been great. There is a new button scheme in the passing game. Previous versions were limited to the amount of loft put on passes. With the Total Control Passing feature the quarterback can high point or low point the receiver and throw body relative passes. The new receiver control system has a range of catches from aggressive to possession catches. On defense you can attempt to make an interception or hit on the receiver to knock the ball out. These types of advancements do not benefit the average madden player due to the difficulty of understanding how they work, however an advanced player can control every aspect of the game. There is a new game type called Draft Champions, it is a shorter season mode where you draft your team and then play a few games with them. It is a nice change of pace from the usual full season modes, but for some reason it requires an Internet connection, which limits the amount of people who can use it. As for the overall game, the new improvements are not going to wow anybody so it really will come down to whether you want the rosters updated weekly. If that is not something you need, then a previous version of the game would be right for you.

I have both the Xbox One & PS4 version and i have to say you can't go wrong with either one the game is that good.There is every option you would ever need the game plays great and the graphics are the best but the only thing i do not like about the Xbox One version is that the controller vibrates while playing and after a while it does get old.My only request to EA would be to put a option in the game to shut the vibration off.

As you can see there are thousands of reviews for this game so instead of regurgitating what was already written I'll just stick to the basics. This is a great game! Period. I've had the most fun with this year's Madden more so than any other. Its 100% must own if you're a fan of the franchise. The issues that I have with the game are pretty significant in my opinion but not enough to warrant any less than a 5 star review. Complaints about the passing mechanics, run fits, defensive pressure are all something that should be noted. But like with any game you play there are always things to tweak or that can be improved. Yes the impact the game but they're aren't overbearing by any means. Graphics: 10 Fun Factor: 8 Controls: 8 Overall review 9/10

My boys love playing this game. They play this game almost everyday. I haven't had a chance to play it because they beat me home and are already playing it.. :) The graphics looks awesome, leave it up to EA to score another touchdown with Madden football.

This year's Madden is the best I've played in quite some time. The presentation is awesome and the gameplay is improved over previous years. The new ways to catch the ball and defend the pass are welcome additions that add to the fun and excitement.

Another year, another Madden. Yet, this year feels better than last. I bought this as a gift for my son and was pleasantly surprised with the updated graphics and new moves for Madden 16. Stack that with BestBuy rewards, and you're golden!
