I'm not a sports game player but decided to give this a try and I must say I was able to pick the controls up easily. This game is additive and I love every minute of it.

Not only the best Madden but the best NFL video game yet. I've been as jaded as anyone about EA's monopoly on football and their mostly lackluster games. I'd only buy Madden every other year because of the small changes from year to year and usually felt like it never gave me my money's worth but that's all changed with 17. This game feels new. Almost built from the ground up and most importantly it's really fun.

Madden NFL 17 improved on last year's game in every way. They have finally added better ball physics, meaning the ball can bounce off of a player and into the air. They toned down the aggressive catch. The running game is probably my favorite improvement, as it is world's better than in previous years. Whether you purchase Madden every year or just every few years, this year's game is definitely one not to miss.

This this is not as big of an upgrade as we had from 15 to 16 but it is a fun game overall. They fixed a lot of the issues and the updated commentary is a huge Plus.

Madden is a lot of fun to play with two people. This year it is so much more realistic.

This game is great, but not amazing. Definitely better than m16. It's madden- you're going to get it whether it's good or not because it's football. But feel better about getting this one- at the very least, they have new play by play guys. There's no companion app for the franchise, which is tough to deal with, but other than that it's a solid, not perfect, NFL football game. Also, the only one in town...

With the new madden installment they have added great features like the playbook now can be searched through by type of play, type of formation, what the community is picking and even tell you by common schemes ran by the opposing team. However I find that with the career there are so many things for you to do on a week to week basis you can play for a long time and not even progress through a season. The new simming is a great addition but can also make it so you really have to win a game on one play alone. Graphics, soundtrack and playability are all great and I have yet to see a glitch.

Most realistic Madden to date. The new running controls make performing jukes, dekes, and trucks almost too easy and it was clear this was a main focus of EA. Also important, EA brought back the Fantasy Draft for those Franchise Players. Graphics are clear and crisp and the commentary is still annoying (albeit no Chris Collinsworth or Joe Buck). Simply put, a must have for any sports game player.

I am enjoying this game much more than last year's release. Main reasons are the the pass defense and run offense are much more improved (two areas I greatly struggled with last year). Also, I love how the franchise mode has improved. Last year's game focused on Madden Ultimate Team mode and this year's model definitely focused on the franchise mode. I strongly recommend this for all football fans.

The new commentary feature is awesome. It updates to situations and even talks about events from week one while you're playing. The experience is so much better when the commentary isn't the same all the time. Now they need to fix the interception garbage when you are running down the ball and then it swings your perspective around and you end up running backwards instead of what had been forward.

This years game is better than last years. The new commentary is greatly improved.

Great updates for Franchise play and changes to running the ball is enough to make it better than last year. Play by play is the best its been in years.

My son loves this game. Amazed how real it looks. Everyone can play this game.

Though they beat me most all of the time (I won once), I had a great time playing this with my grandnephews. They have a lot of fun playing each other too. I'm amazed how realistic it is. They are 9 & 11, and I'm 70. This is far more realistic than the little men I played with as a kid on a vibrating metal football field. Still I enjoyed that as a kid, just as I did playing this!
