Whether or not someone should buy this game is dependent on how recently they played a Madden game. If you own last year's game, you can probably safely skip this one. If not, it's a great game that plays well. The new Longshot mode sounded fun to me and was one of the main reasons I picked up the game. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat because all of the characters are flawed to the point where you don't really want to see them succeed. The mechanics during the story change up regularly or are nonsensical (such as steering the ball mid-air) to the point it get frustrating. Plus, if you don't know the ins-and-outs of football, you will be penalized during the story. In summary: the game overall is great, but just don't expect it to be revolutionary compared to previous year's versions and the new story mode was a letdown.

Some flaws as usual but I will say it's a bit better than last years.

As always Madden delivers. Good game this year. Highly reccommend.

It is Madden so if you love football, you will buy it. Graphics are about the same but it's still entertaining. It does have a few glitches they hopefully work out.

Well done madden. This is an advancement on the previous madden.
