I've been a Madden Player for a few years and i think this is the last one i will buy. My favorite mode to play is franchise and no matter what difficulty you play on, its impossible. Running the ball is simply not an option as right when you get handed the ball, you barely have any time to move and the RB is so slowwww. No matter who you use, they're incredibly slow. Passing is always inaccurate no matter how easy the rout is and wide receivers drop almost every pass I dont use MUT or even bother with the so called "story mode" which has atrocious acting and just a boring plot overall. Extremely disappointed in the cash grab company that is EA.

Game has not changed in years as EA continues to focus nearly exclusively on the pay-to-win micro-transaction quasi-gambling Madden Ultimate Team mode (as it is their #1 cash maker). Unless you have to have an updated set of rosters there is simply no reason to buy the game this year. The commentary is awful and often does not even reflect what is happening on the field. Moreover, there simply is no immersion in the bland franchise mode. Finally, Long Shot takes a step back from last year in its story.

Good game with some usual game aspects but storymode is solid.
