Madden hasn't changed since 2004 when they had competition. The only thing that's new besides the rosters is the decline of quality in MUT. This 80 dollar version is disgusting. I stupidly paid 20 dollars extra for one 89 OVR Hall of Famer. Don't buy this.

I purchased the Madden Hall of Fame edition digital copy just to play 3 days earlier as promised and still haven't received my code. I am very disappointed

they made this game with alot of clitches and the send update each month the the game stil have clitches.

Gameplay has not changed, this edition gives you no really worth it items

Obviously reviews are based on player interpretations, and depending on what game mode you enjoy, you may have conflicting opinions about this game. Personally, if you enjoy the single player experience, with seasons and longshot mode, etc, I think you'll enjoy this. I play Ultimate Team though, so I'll be basing my review off of that. Building your own team is fun, it's something I've done in the 2k basketball series with no issues, and this is my first foray into MUT, and I have to say, it's been an odd experience. I've assembled a pretty good team of 84 OVR. Yet when I play against people online, my speedy receivers seem to move slower, and silver rated defensive backs are able to keep up with them. A lot of people have complained about this issue, with some speculating it's because it's in competitive mode, that it actually throttles down players to at least be reasonably defend-able. So it's essentially a protection against a pay to win mechanic. OK, fair enough, but the model seems to be at odds with itself, what's the point of building a better team then, only to have it throttled? The Defensive assist is terrible, you'll mash your teeth as you watch your LB's just stand around or avoid making a play on the ball. At one point, I was running Vick for a touchdown, I had a wide receiver that could have either blocked for me as the defense closed in, or attempted to get open for a pass once I drew the defense on me. He did neither, just stood there in my running lane ensuring I'd be tackled. I recently added a Michael Vick card to a set, only to have it disappear completely from my item binder. It didn't go to the set I applied it too, it simply vanished. I contacted EA and they said I discarded it, what?! When I pointed out that I received nothing for it, no training points, coins, or anything, they realized it was actually an issue when they noticed it as well. They told me to go to the support forums as the devs read them, and basically hope someone hears my plight that can help. When I arrived there, I discovered tons of similar complaints with not getting items out of card packs, challenges, losing items added to set, as had happened to me, I was stunned. I realized, wow, with all of these complaints I'm never going to get a resolution on my Vick card ending up on the back of a milk carton, so I'm essentially out 500,00 coins at least. What a terrible system, I'm sure EA is hoping I'll go "Darn it! I better buy some more packs!" but that isn't going to happen. Earlier today, I played a friend and we had a good laugh as my receiver dropped a pass in the endzone and for some reason the game called it a touchdown, he challenged and the call still stood. The announcers constantly discuss things that didn't happen, which leave you wondering what game their watching in the booth. All in all, the game has it's moments, it can be fun when everything is working as intended. But all of the bugs, glitches, and out right thievery in the MUT system leaves a lot to be desired, factor in a non-existent support system, if you ever have the misfortune to have an issue on this game, particularly with MUT, you are so incredibly screwed. They'll be there to help you spend your money, but when everything goes awry, crickets. In summary, if you enjoy the single player aspect of the game, I'd purchase it, I'm planning on playing virtually everything but Ultimate Team. That's my experience with the game, hopefully others have had a better experience. Whichever route you go, best of luck. Imperix

Looks good from what i've seen. Lots of rewards for those who have pre ordered the game either it be the standard edition or HOF edition.

The connected franchise is nice improvements and Longshot aswell

Best buy is a sham, taking so many preorders if they didn't have codes from EA. Read the forums and see all the people they are treating this way.

Preorder guaranteed for today yet here it is after 6pm and I still haven’t received the code. I’ve never had a problem preordering before but I had never preordered digital before.
