I recommend going through the story mode and playing in high school game.

My 12 year old son likes this game. This game keeps my son entertained.

I am Madden player from way back, but these last few years I have to say I'm disapointed in the overall game play. There is just too much to think about now. I understand todays gamer likes a lot of games within the games, but I prefer the old simple line up and play Madden game. Thumbs down for me.

This years Madden had some great innovations, like the new progression system and adding more specialized positions, but for every improvement there are 2 problems. There are far too many glitches and AI problems for a game that has constantly been in development for 25 years. The rating system is primitive and far too inexact at this point. The franchise mode hasnt gotten substantial attention in years. EA has the resources to make Madden a great game, it just doesnt use them. It does football fine if you are happy picking it up and playing a game here and there for fun.....but if you intend to dive deep into its systems, this years Madden is a disappointment in more ways than its a success. Save your cash and keep playing last years game. With the community roster updates and sliders, its still just fine.

Pretty much what you expect, nothing mind blowing on this year's update

Every year the game is great. I am really enjoying this version as well.

Its fun from time to time but its clearly scripted. Typical EA game.
