Same old madden. Long shot is terrible this year. You pretty much get graded on how poorly your teammates play and they are pretty bad. Franchise pretty much looks the same with a few new positions added that should have been there years ago. The mechanics are same old. Players lack sideline intelligence, feels more like a random algorithm that determines success of a play rather than skill. Still haven't fixed the challenges. Already had a moment were the CPU picked a pass with no feet inbounds and when I went to challenge it said "theres nothing to challenge" even though the replay was clear as day. I beg the nfl to discontinue the licensing deal with EA and let 2k put out a better game. Madden developers seem to get lazier every year and they clearly do not know what their fans are looking for.

Download worked perfectly and came within an hour. Great service as always by Best Buy! My son likes it better than 18.

I honestly feel the gameplay isn't as realistic as it can be. You're not going to get many yards on the running play. The defenders will get an extra boost out of no where to pick the interception even after timing the WR perfectly. There are still some glitches EA sports need to get out. This is not my top 5 Madden game. I've been a madden gamer for years. Save your money until theres a discount or wait till next year.

I have been playing madden games for about 10 years and it feels like they have just been coasting with bug fixes and improvements to franchise mode. If you only buy madden to play MUT you probably already know what you are buying but for anything else, there is really no reason to buy this game for anything more than $10.

its almost like when they up graded the graphics and added the new movement features it made the game clunky. not as fluid of motion as previous years. not happy with end product but I am a Madden player for life. have been since day 1

If you want a good sports game keep looking this isn't it. It's not the worst game ever, but it's closer to that than the best. I can find almost nothing substantially different about this game vs 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. Honestly you're better off just finding updated rosters online with an older game. It has the same old problems that Madden has had for the past decade. FIFA or 2k are far superior sports game experiences.

Madden is always inconsistent and I’m tired of EA sports making this game.. time for someone else to make a football game. I understand the rights to the NFL is with EA but honestly these games are terrible. 2k is crapping on EA in sports games

It is clear that a lot of these reviews were either paid for by EA or written by unpaid interns for college credit. This is not a 5 star game, nor a 3 star game. It is buggy, features are added and removed on a yearly basis to attempt to justify a ridiculous $60 price tag, and even worse is the attempt at a story mode. Longshot was good, this was probably written by one of those aformentioned interns. Please do not buy this game, or if you must, pick it up used for cheap, because this mess does not deserve your money.

This has to be one of WORST madden games EA has made. On offense every time you go to pass the ball it either gets deflected or picked off but the computer can seem to do no wrong and that is just one of many many problems with the game this year. This game could be $19.99 and still would not be worth it so save yourself the headache and leave it at the store like I wished I did!!!
