The graphics on this game are unreal. My husband used to play Madden way back in the early 2000s. My kids got a playstation and they got this game. The graohics threw both my husband and I for a loop.

Fun like all the other madden games. Go san fran in this one.

Is it perfect no, is it as bad as some of the reviews no. Look it is a sports game that has 22 players… there is no ai in at game that is perfect let alone one of this size. The game feels more lifelike and it’s a great step up from last year.

I’ve been playing Madden off and on, since the original launched on the Sega Genesis in the early 90s. One of my favorites was Madden 93 and the first to really wow me was Madden on the 3DO. With Madden 23, it is honestly extremely disappointing that some things are still being artificial manipulated to make the defense completely unrealistic at times. Also, the running game just doesn’t have good AI in most situations. With the Defense, you can pass the ball to a guy that is clearly wide open, and he will usually make the catch, but when the ball is in the air, immediately all the secondary begins to converge on the ball, even if the defenders aren’t even looking back when the ball is launched. Also, if you don’t have a very strong #1, and you use anything above pro, your wideouts will almost never get any yards after the catch. On offense if you throw the ball at a receiver sometimes the ball is nowhere near him and the screen glitches, to align the path with the receiver (or it will make it so the defender that’s 3 steps behind, suddenly catches up to the receiver and jumps the route). Then you’ll hand the ball off, but even the better running backs will have an open lane and immediately turn and run towards the defender, or into the back or their own teammate. Also, if you’re winning the game by a few TDs, the game will stop you from playing the moments and allow the other team to catch up. It’s insane that you can’t just play the game! Oh and if that’s not bad enough, it will make like you’re now rattled and jumble all your routes while hiding the passing icons for your receivers. Seriously, if EA cannot make the game competitive, without rigging the AI, then they shouldn’t have an exclusive license for the NFL and NFLPA. Another issue, bugs! There was a point where face of the franchise wasn’t letting you continue to the next season and as soon as they fixed that, the next season only gave you the option to advance weeks and you couldn’t actually play the season or do anything else. Honestly, the game can be fun, but a lot of this stuff really takes away from the experience and it is a real shame that EA cannot make a decent AI without cheating.

Great purchase for the holidays and it was a no brainer.

This game is fun. I enjoy it very much. Would recommend.

John madden no need to say more classic for any gamer

I had to have this version of Madden. To commemorate the Man behind the “Boom!” Im so glad they went this direction for the cover art. The gameplay is great as always. Need to play this on my OLED!

I used to love Madden games, but they strayed away from just playing football. I enjoy franchise mode, but I don't want to have to talk to reporters or encourage players. Let me just play football and stop making it so complicated.

This is the best Madden. Last year was the best until I played this one. Before that it was the year before that one. Every year this game makes a little improvement

This is what Madden Football brings to table. Realistic football simulation, with gameplay that’s both challenging and entertaining. Another big step up . Really enjoy this game.

One of my all-time favorite games. Love the updates, and with John Madden on the cover, who could pass on this. Picked it up on sale, so it was a no-brainer.

First time buying madden in 8-10 years and wow has it improved. Been playing since the 90's, took a short break when kids came around, now my kids play with me. Love it!

The graphics look much better and they implemented some gameplay features that make it harder when you’re losing and tye momentum shifts to the other team

Already know what I’m getting into with Madden so even though it’s far from perfect it’s still enjoyable enough! First madden I’ve gotten on ps5 and it plays smoothly

Graphics are crisper than 22 by far. Faster gamplay with a new precision throwing. Overall so far happy with it over 22.

I purchased this game for my nephew and he has really enjoyed it, he says it’s so realistic and enjoys the new features. He enjoys playing online with his friends.

Definitely a step from the previous years of madden. The mechanics feels so fluent at every position is unbelievable.

Good entry in the series, slight change in passing/catching mechanics - personally, I'm not fond of the change, while my son is; it's a nuance aimed at giving you more control and creating more of a simulation, but it certainly complicates completions for a more passive player - you have the option to revert to the old way, but a local 1 vs 1 cannot support using two different control styles as you can in something like the NBA 2k series.
