Pretty cool, but...

It allows your vehicle to talk to the head unit and display information about the vehicle. The only thing I have found an issue with is after the installation by Best Buy, my On Star isn't working. I have to take it in and have the vehicle reworked to fix it. I dont know if it is an install issue or a unit issue. Hmmmmm, whata pain.

Better than nothing

Make sure you find out what items works with you make and model of car and then plan on about 2/3 of what they tell you it will do. All in all I guess it's better than loosing all factory control to your sound system

This way i could keep functions that were in main radio. Down side is it does not show climate for passenger side even though it works. Cannot use seat cooler and quality of screen looks old now.
