Pretty cool, but...

It allows your vehicle to talk to the head unit and display information about the vehicle. The only thing I have found an issue with is after the installation by Best Buy, my On Star isn't working. I have to take it in and have the vehicle reworked to fix it. I dont know if it is an install issue or a unit issue. Hmmmmm, whata pain.

Better than nothing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ads boast a lot of things this can do but not that it only can do some of the operations with given car manufacture or stereo. Make sure you find out what items works with you make and model of car and then plan on about 2/3 of what they tell you it will do. All in all I guess it's better than loosing all factory control to your sound system
