My son wanted this game. It was on sale for 15 bucks so why not get it for him. Says it's an ok game..

Pick it up on sale. Fun story, good action. Don't pay full price, though.

This game has a stellar story! It kept me intrigued for hours and made me want to play through to the end. The only problem is the gameplay. Its very subpar compared to the likes of GTA V. The driving and shooting mechanics made me want more. At $60, it isn't worth it. Buy it used or when its on sale.

Good game fun to play like the open world and the gameplay

This game boldly and awesomely covers a historical time period that can be overwhelming for some. The research and attention to detail make the story amazing. However, the game play mechanics are not intuitive or fluid. Driving is the worst and and character movements are clunky. These aspects remove you from the great story. Still definitely worth playing.

It's like GTA in a different era. Not necessarily great for kids.

IF you love traditional open world 3rd person narrative style games, look no further. ALthough the mechanics and cover system arnt anything exciting, the narrative and characters overshadow that. Although the other downside is that there is a alot of driving due to a lack of fast travel. The action and liveliness of fictional NO keep the replay value high.

Mafia 3 has an underutilized setting with its fictional version of New Orleans and the documentary-style framing device that conveys the story is a clever idea. I really enjoy exploring the city and experiencing the story, but the driving and combat in this game is only acceptable.

Great graphics, I love to watch my husband play. It's like an I interactive cartoon for me.

I really liked Mafia 2 so when I picked up Mafia 3 I had high hopes. The story has kept me engaged but the game play is a bit repetitive. It's mainly hiding behind boxes and waiting for enemies to walk by for a stealth kill (unless you go in guns blazing). The cut scenes are well done and it's kept me interested enough to finish the game.

The graphics of the game are great and so is the story.

I was looking forward to M3 since I first heard about it's release, so of course I bought it. The game is open-world format, so you can really explore the city on your own. The main missions and side missions can get a bit repetitive, but they're still enjoyable. One thing that I will recommend not doing...comparing the open world gameplay to GTA.
