The graphics on this game are amazing, with the open world to view it can't wait to see what the dlc has in store

The game is very fun, but if you are expecting a GTA level of immersion I would steer clear. This game is more of a great story experience than a fun open world game. Also there are some technical glitches. So if you are looking for a good story as satisfactory game play, stick around.

I've been waiting for this new release and it was as exciting as I hoped. Great store line and great play action

The game starts off with some great 70s music and a cool vibe. But that's about it. The cars all handle terrible not sure why I realize cars back then didn't handle as well as modern cars but it's a video game..... The world map/model is pretty interesting for the first hour then you notice how extremely empty and sterile it feels. The missions and story are alright but get repetitive quickly pretty much just go from way point to unlock the next way point. The gun play is actually fun most of the time. I really like the protagonist and time period! To bad it's just bland overall. I picked this up for $7.99 with gamer's club unlocked. I wouldn't have paid any more for it. I bet you could find some used copies pretty cheap if you look around.

Got it on sale for under $20, so fully knowing what I was getting into with bugs etc didn't bother me. Sure, I'd be upset if I paid full $60 retail back when it released, but for under $20 it's a nice looking game to throw up and mess around with from time to time.

This game has gotten a lot of bad reviews while the story can be hit or miss I enjoy the shooting aspect of the game. The driving can get repetitive but shooting/killing missions are a lot of fun. If your not sure about picking this up I would suggest trying it out on demo.

Strong characters and confident storytelling kept me engaged, even if the gameplay rarely delivered anything but bog-standard and repetitive open-world action. That’s a bummer, because Lincoln is an incredible protagonist and New Bordeaux is a fantastic setting thematically, and it would’ve been great to see them put to better use.

I really like this game so far. The story is excellent. I really can't wait to see how it plays out. I'm a fan of the franchise, however it's been a while since I played Mafia II. Controls and driving mechanics are a bit difficult to get used to if you've been playing a lot of GTAV. The gameplay gets very repetitive after a short while, like most games you have to do the same tasks over and over in different areas, but it's worth it to progress in the story.

I had never played a game in the mafia series before, but heard this one took place in a New Orleans look alike world and my friend had it so I decided to try it out since I had heard good things. As soon as I gave him back the game I went out and bought it. Game is so much fun with so much to do. Definitely wouldn't recommend to a pre teen or younger because of all the content and language (like GTA), but for everyone else definitely recommend it!

No doubt the game itself is a winner. I enjoyed playing this game. The story line is very nostalgic and the detail of history was spot on. I would say the graphics are a bit on the nor-so-good side along with the missions and excitement. It's really the same thing over and over

This is a very good game to play. I love how it takes place in the 60's and has that gta feel to it. It's not the best game but it's definitely not the worst. I recommend playing it if you were a fan of the gta franchise.

Mafia 3 is fun and actin packed. If you are a GTA fan this game fits right in with the collection.

The world of Mafia 3 is compelling and at times difficult to stomach, but the gameplay often gets bogged down in repetition. It's worth playing for the interesting characters, setting, and big set piece missions, but it can be a slog during the time between these big missions.

Play it for the story. The gameplay loop is average.

Mafia 3 is a great game. Great story, great voice acting, and most important, amazing soundtrack! (The early dramatic sequence with Paint It Black playing is just perfect.) I can see how the missions may get repetitive, but I haven't hit that point yet. Great fun all around!
