I got this for my husband for Christmas so he hasn't played it yet but I am confident he will love it.

Mafia 3 is good but not as much as 2k and Hanger 13 hyped up before the release. Story is great but the actual missions get boring after a while.(Same thing over and over again)

I believe this was a turn for the better. The story and how they portrayed New Orleans was great . The mechanics of the game was a little clunky but overall a great game.

I have played all the Mafia games in the series. This has an excellent story. Has some good mechanics. Unfortunately is buggy with pop-in, screen tearing, and lighting issues.

First off, this game is worth it just for its excellent storyline and deals with some deep material. The gameplay is decent, but the missions can get repetitive.

Story of this came is the strong point. Controls aren't perfect and gameplay can be challenging, but I found myself continuing to place in order to see what happens next.

I really wanted to love this game but couldn't make it happen. I put an obscene amount of time into it as a completionist but honestly regret that. If you do play this game, don't waste any time trying to do all the side missions just plow through the story, that's the only place this game shines. The graphics are sub par, controls get the job done, driving is clunky but they are 60's cars so it's hard to be too harsh on it. But overall it was a frustrating game since it could have been so much better.

Although there was a lot of potential for this to be a great video game, many of the repetitive missions, generic story, and game play glitches prevent this from being the next Grand Theft Auto. I appreciate the serious tone of the story and how realistically and unapologetically racism is presented in the 50's and 60's, but the game itself can be better. There should definitely be a sequel using this same subject matter with hopefully more refine game play.

This installment has a great lead character, good story, fun yet somewhat repetitive gameplay, but not as great a soundtrack as in Mafia 2 but the save system is better

First, this isn't GTA. As long as you know that going in you should have an enjoyable time with this game. It has a feel of its own and all and all a pretty fun game.

Mafia is your typical open world game. It has a good story but the missions are repetitive. Even though the missions seem repetitive, it is a good buy in my opinion.

This game caught some slack for not being like Mafia 2, and I get that. Trust me. But for what it is, it's a great game. You dont really feel like you're playing a mafia game, you just feel like you're playing a great open world shooter, and I loved it.

This game is much like a GTAV clone. The only thing is, the gameplay is slightly worse but the story and acting are some of the best ever put in a video game!

I got this game on sale, but was shocked at how good it was. Its a open world game like gta that has a main story line with plenty of side missions and areas to take over. the soundtrack to the game is just great as well. I got many hours of enjoyment beating this game.

Graphics were pretty good and game play was smooth. My only complaint is this game gets a little repetitive with the missions otherwise it was fun to play

Purchased this game as a xmas gift. Got it on sale for a wonderful price. Very good game.

The storytelling in the game is outstanding. Very in depth and intricate with some variation for replay potential. And finally a game where you have to do a fair amount of driving around that has fantastic music to enjoy. Some of the fight mechanics and interactions can be a little monotone but there is enough going on to keep it interesting with how they have structured the game overall. Its a very good game that feels plenty long (some games these days feel like half a game with DLC needed to complete it). A strong recommendation for people that like the genre, but not a must have game.
