Probably should've just rented this one. Its ok, the driving is a bit iffy, like watch dogs 1 but not quite as bad. The structure of the game gets super repetative and fairly tedious similar to the first Assassin's Creed where you just do the same steps over and over to draw out specific characters. The combat gameplay was the best part, but it's not done well enough to over look the rest of the game's short comings. Story was good and combat was ok, but the rest of the game falls short.

If it wasn't for the soundtrack on this game it would be a two star. The game itself is not that great but you'll have some fun playing it. The ending is terrible but the soundtrack.. One of the best.

Not a bad game though not for the young or faint of heart when it comes to language/nudity. To be honest, I bought it for the game setting in (faux) New Orleans. Subpar graphics but a predictable game that starts to get old after so trips across the game map for the same old same old missions. My biggest complaint is the very annoying cut screens that last forever. Whether its waiting for the game to reload after a death or the back ground story that can't be skipped over you spend more time waiting for the game to start then you should in this day and age. All in all, it's something to kill the time with and fun to look at but rent it or buy it used. Not worth the full price.

This is an excellent, well fleshed out open world game based on GTA concept. It's a good story driven, Era driven game with tons to do an experience. Worth it!

Story, music, characters, and graphics(for the most part) are incredible. Wish it wasn't so repetitive.

My previous Mafia game was Mafia 2 for the Ps3. Although it was fun at first, the game got really boring quick as it was all mission after mission. Mafia 3 is different because there is so many things to do! Its like GTA with a bit of Mafia twist plus the storyline is so good!

Mafia III is a good game that should have been great. Metacritic gave it a 68 across the board and for the most part that is not too off. The game is an 8 and should be a 10 with a great story but not so great/average gameplay. This game was obviously rushed in order to make deadline but they still charge $60. If you are going to give an incomplete game thats more of an early access game it should not be that price. They should have finished the game and given more to do in the open world. I would recommend this game after more patches and hopefully a ps4 pro upgrade.

2 weeks after purchasing went down to 7.99 half of what I paid which I thought was a great buy at 15.99. thanks again best buy.....should be eligible for price match form their own site.

Mafia 3 is very fun and exciting. The open world universe makes this game amazing.

It's hard to figure things out at first but overall has a good story line and great graphics. The era seems to be 50s so the music is the best touch.

I wanted to like this game so much. It has a great concept, intriguing setting and what looked like excellent graphics. About two hours in the gameplay everything seemed OK and the story was definitely good, but when I got the car for the first time that's when all the faults and flaws of the game came flying through. The tires literally did not touch the ground they floated above. The draw distance is pathetic. It's almost as if I was playing two different games. The set up was pretty good, but once the open world opened up, it's like they stopped developing the game. I immediately traded it in and have never looked back. It's a huge disappointment because I really wanted to like it.

The location and time period of this game sold me. While the open world city and general gameplay are great the missions are copy and pasted. You get deja vu quickly. It seems that the developer spent so much time building great environments that they ran out of time to make an interesting game. The subject matter is great and something that has not been done in games in the same way. Just isn't fleshed out well. Not a total loss but wait on it.

Good gameplay, graphics. Somewhat long storyline. Could have been better, but still worth playing. Has like 60-70s type music when play the game.

Great story and mature themes. But the enemy ai is bad and there r some bugs. Overall it's worth getting imo. Maybe give it some time for patching.

This is a good game for its price. Bought it for my brother and he loved it.

Similar to GTA 5...very good game...pick up was nice and smooth at the store.

This is a great addition to the Mafia series. Highly rated and recommended.
