Mafia 3 has a great story and setting but what holds the game back is poor driving controls and graphical problems such as NPCs poping in from nowhere, poor lighting and poor textures, the gameplay also feels very repetitive with locations being recycled for missions

I enjoyed the first Mafia games. This one takes a wrong turn in that the missions are repetitive and the driving everywhere is tedious and slow paced. The AI is awful, stupid and simply makes completing missions too easy. Not an improvement to the Mafia franchise.

I appreciated them making the game so realistic with the history of our country. Game play and story are great.

This one is the first one I have purchased from the mafia series. I was a little worried I wouldn’t like it after playing GTA5. But I was wrong. I like the game and I enjoy playing it.

It's a great game but not up to Mafia 2, but it will be really good if you play it is your first Mafia game.

Although Grand theft auto sets the bar every time for open world games, Mafia 3 slowly starts to catch fire right along side them. Though the graphics are not the most advanced we've seen recently, the replay value for this game makes up for its tumbles with some interesting characters and a solid story plot.

First time trying this game (although for my son). Loved it. great graphics, story and player action.

The story is awesome and gameplay is nice. The story draws you in and makes you want to keep playing.

Mafia 3 is a good game but can get repetitive after a while. The game is set in a fictional version of New Orleans in 1968 with era appropriate cars and clothing all around. You play as Lincoln Clay, an army vet who returns home and gets swept up in the mob. He end sup getting betrayed then must seek revenge to bring down the mafia in the city but taking down their operations one by one. This is handled well and the story is told in a very cool way, almost like a documentary style but the gameplay can get repetitive after awhile as there is really only a handful of mission types that you do in each area, before you take down the head boss of that spot and your guys take over. Fun in doses, but not for long play sessions. If you liked the others in this series you will enjoy this as well, just don't expect a GTA5 level open world.

This is head and shoulders above the first version. The game creators really improved on the AI and the player/enemy balances as a hacker. The skill-set that is provided to the main character is much richer along with a greatly improved graphics on the XBox One system. Definitely get this game.

Great game fill with humor and action and a history lesson from the 1960's hours of fun and planing

Mafia 3 is a revenge story centered around the bayou. The shooter and stealth gameplay is everything it should be, but the story occasionally lags some. It can get a little repetitive at times, but can still be fun. Be warned that the racism and feel of the time period is extremely accurate.

Excellent graphics and color. One of the best action games on the market. X-box did it again.

Lincoln Clay is a good character with a good story but gameplay becomes somewhat repetitive. It is very realistic in the time of history it takes place and racism that you would have encountered and if you like the music from that era they play some good music. Overall it is not a bad game.
