It was an open box, whoever returned it pulled a switcher and returned an older Magic Keyboard without the Touch ID. So whoever inspected it before sending it to me didn't fully inspect. My Keyboard has the old "eject" button instead of the "Touch ID" button

Keyboard was listed as excellent like new condition. However the letter “e” had a small chip. Returned to the store next day.

As awesome as Touch ID is, Apple makes horrible stand alone keyboards. Get a Logitech MX Master series. It hooks up via Bluetooth the same way this keyboard does and quickly manage three different devices. Also is cheaper I think.

Ordered before Christmas and it shipped to Saint Paul where it has been stuck in a "Delayed" status since. It's now February and still "Delayed". Nobody has reached out to let me know what's happening and there is no convenient way to track it down.

Does not work seamlessly out of the box as all apple products should. Could not get the finger print reader to read even using numerous online tips and tricks to trick the computer to accept it. NOT WORTH $199!

Not a BestBuy issue. It’s a Bluetooth Apple problem. My New 2022 mini Mac, new display, new wireless keyboard and mouse: could not communicate. Power was on display. Keyboard Could not communicate with display. Called Apple & it took 1.5 hours to set up and the only way it could be done was to use my year 2000 wiredkwyboard and wired mouse. None of my (3) other Apple wireless keyboards would set up either and thus I bdrive back to BestBuy to buy the new wireless keyboard. It’s an Apple blue tooth connection problem and if Bluetooth does not work initially with the new mini Mac, display and keyboard an old model wired keyboard is required as the only solution to make the initial connection. I’ve been on AppleCare many times over the years and I am always requested to use the wired keyboard to fix issues.

Overpriced. I'm not sure what the hype is all about

This open box product was returned for a reason - it's faulty. By the time it started to exhibit the issues (keyboard just stops working despite being connected via Bluetooth, REPEATEDLY throughout the day), I was outside of the return window. BestBuy - you need to up your game, as well as your Geek Squad, if you are going to sell returned/open box items without ensuring that they are 100% working properly. It wasn't that much of a discount to get it this way, and I completely regret it

Overpriced. Did not add any value or productivity to my setup.

We received a different model, and different color.

What I actually received was a corded keyboard (not magic) that actually doesn't work.

I'm not sure about the Touch ID with numeric because it doesn't have anything to support it at the bottom to place the keyboard at an angle.

I already had one without Touch ID and needed one so that I can use the Touch ID while my max book flap is down .. but this stops working

My keys always feel flat. It is almost uncomfortable to use.

Does not work for my IMAC from 2020. Doesn't work with any iMacs using the intel chip. That's a big problem which isn't mentioned on the box

I would never recommend this contraption. It stopped working within a few months and hasn’t worked since.

Once again my Best Buy order has been delayed. I don't know why I continue to give this company a chance. This will be my last order. Please stay away from this failing company.

If Steve Jobs was alive, he would never accept to have a great keyboard as this one without a back lighting.
