This has almost EVERYTHING you want in an Apple keyboard with exactly two missing features that I've learned to live with really fast. 1. I wish the key travel was more like the MX Keys. 2. I wish it had a backlight. Other than this, this is the PERFECT keyboard for any Apple product. Shortcuts, touch ID, build quality and apple continuity In spite of the two missing features, I would still highly recommend.

Overall, I really like this product. It has pretty quiet & smooth keys, and that Touch ID makes a big difference, also like the battery life. Great product, just a bit expensive.

Unless you have tiny hands and fingers, the keyboard on a MacBook is pretty small. It is doubly small if you are used to a full size keyboard. The Magic Keyboard solves the issue and is as capable or more than the laptop keyboard (think number keypad). You don’t give up the fingerprint reader either. In general it makes life easier unless you do all your work on an airplane seat table. It’s a purchase you won’t regret.

The mini version of this keyboard that came with my iMac was smaller than the keyboard on a 13" MacBook and gave me a pinched nerve. I replaced it with a wired keyboard - not a bad brand but slightly less expensive - but the iMac frequently stopped recognizing it, so I'd have to unplug it and plug it back in. Finally I just ordered this one, and it was worth the expense. You can use it wired or with Bluetooth. No lag, no pinched nerves, no unplugging and replugging - it's worth just shelling out for this one. And the touch ID is a great feature.

Love the keyboard. Easy to use, very thin, holds the charge.

Excellent. Keyboard. Runs.quite a while on one usb-c charge. Keyboard isn’t heavy and is good quality. A bit expensive though.

I don’t like small keyboards and I do use number pads. That said, this product fits perfectly. The Touch Button for signing on to Apple Chip Macs is great.

A classic and very practical keyboard fit for any task. Excellent quality. I use the Touch ID feature all the time. I have a system with a Mac mini and a studio display and it works as if it was designed for it. Well, maybe it was. I recommend this keyboard.

Best thing have when connect your Mac to docking stating and you need to use TouchID for everything. One thing to note is always pair with keypad support since it is not ergonomic on its own

This keyboard is comfortable, responsive, and great for both typing and light gaming. The backlit keys are a nice touch, especially in low light. Build quality feels solid, and setup was effortless. While the software could be better, overall it’s a reliable and stylish choice for everyday use.

Amazing, works great with all of my Apple devices, holds its charge for a long time. Also super easy to connect and disconnect when not in use.

Touch ID is excellent and used to update my security on all my websites.Love the apple keyboard, so light and holds the charge all month.

Worth it for the touch id - I use it in clamshell when I'm home, and to just have everything i need plus a numeric keypad is good. Ergonomics could be better

This keyboard has everything I need to type on my Mac mini. It's also one of the only ones with touch ID. I wish it was backlit, but it still works great and the battery lasts a long time.

Absolutely worth the extra cost for the Touch ID as compared to the regular keyboard. I was really getting tired of inputting my password every time my computer wakes up after a pause. And it works with other apps as well.

Works great for exactly what I needed it for which was touch ID to a MacBook pro connected to a monitor. If you want to be able to use touch ID without opening the lid at times this is what you need. Price was on point with (even a bit less than) competitors.
