If you are a fan of Black Stone Cherry, or are looking for a little something to sink your rock teeth into this is definitely your avenue. Black Stone Cherry is among the few current bands that are still producing good, genuine rock music that will remind you of that which you miss and while the entire album is solid, there are of course a couple stand outs: Dance Girl Brings the iconic sound from BSC with the pumping beat and the shockingly important lyrical lines. Dance Girl has easily become one of my favorites from Magic Mountain. Never Surrender Never Surrender is one of those songs by BSC that reminds you that much of their work is about inspirational pieces meant to provide deeper meaning to their audience. Never Surrender delivers that in a rocking, driving song that takes you on a ride from intro to last beat. Hollywood in Kentucky This I classify as the dark horse of the album. it's not like the thumping rocking counterparts on the album, but yet it embodies BSC and through more acoustic (while not being light) style it drives home an awesome tune. Needless to say if you are a fan of Black Stone Cherry this is a must have album. If you are looking to get into new-age rock, this is a must get. 5 Pumped Hollywood Stars out of 5!

Black Stone Cherry is possibly the most underrated band ever. "Magic Mountain" is a well-crafted and performed masterpiece. They really poured their heart and soul into this disc,and it shows. Joe Barresi has worked his magic producing and mixing the album. It sounds good cranked to 11! I have read lukewarm reviews of this album by BSC fans,but I just don't get it. What more could you ask for?? Every song is wonderful IMO,but "Peace Pipe" is the standout here to me. It features a sing-along chorus that will get stuck in your head for days,and epic guitar solos. The two Best-Buy only tracks are amazing. They're as good as the rest of the cd. No throwaway tracks here. It was a whopping $9.99 for 15 songs too! I only wish John Fred,Chris,Ben,and Jon could get the respect they deserve,and have more widespread commercial success. Until then I'm sure they will keep slugging it out on the concert trail. These guys are not to be missed live!

I was really waiting for this CD, thinking that BSC was going to take their music to the next level. My expectations were probably too high after the top-to-bottom solid songwriting of their third album. There are some gems on here, like "Me and Mary Jane" and "Hollywood in Kentucky," but there are some throwaways as well. I thought the two songs put on as Best Buy exclusives, "Revolutionize" and "Leave Your World Behind" were stronger than some of the songs included on the CD. Still, there aren't many Southern rock bands out there nowadays, and BSC is as good as it gets.

This is a good album from Black Stone Cherry. I don't think it is quite as good as their prior works but still pretty solid. There are some songs on here that are awesome and very catchy like Me and Mary Jane and Fiesta Del Fuego, but my favorite is probably Hollywood In Kentucky. The should absolutely release Hollywood in Kentucky as a single. They lyrics are awesome (both very funny and true) and the song sounds great.

BSC have created another excellent record with a bit more freedom. These guys are fortunately keeping southern rock alive, where most show no interest. Solid release from start to finish, and Best Buy has been kind (and wise) enough to give us an additional 2 tracks which only add to the experience. Highly recommend this one

This band is awesome. They have a great musicianship and talent that veterans of the business have. This being the third album really shows where they have come from and where they are heading.

Good album. Expected more. Felt like BSC was trying to Nickelback it up a bit. Me and Mary Jane, Fiesta Del Fuego are 2 great hit songs but Hollywood In Kentucky is the song of the album.

Do yourself a favor and go out and buy this album, theses guys are absolutely great, seen many times live and every time they are better and better. This album is great also plus you get two bonus tracks you cant get anywhere else.

Unlike their previous effort, I did not feel that this CD had as many stand out songs that rock nor were there as many ballads. However, I did enjoy one of the two bonus Best Buy songs quite a bit.

Another solid release from Black Stone Cherry. Some good rockin' songs as well as a few slower emotion driven tracks. Bonus tracks are good quality as well. If you are a BSC fan, don't miss out!

This CD is far better than their last effort! I bought it the week it came out for 7.99! It really rocks! There is not a weak track on this CD! It will not disappoint you rocker's out there!

I like Black Stone Cherry and have their last 2 cd's The last CD was their best and it is going to be hard to top it. But this cd has some good tracks also, just not the whole cd

It's cool that they've gone back to style they had on their debut and Folklore & Superstition. I like everything on this one, musically they just click and never disappoint.

If you like Black Stone Cherry's first two albums, then you will enjoy this one. Lyrically it isn't as strong as the second album, but they have matured musically.

Kentucky's rock band is back and like always they deliver some good riffs and great vocals this is a must have for any rock fan. BSC ROCKS

Some good Southern Rock here! Reminds me of the Greats! Skynyrd,Molly Hatchet,Blackfoot. If you dig good rock-n-roll you'll like this disc!! :-)

Love this CD, I'm a big fan of BSC, I have all their CD's. They never disappoint.

This may be the best Black Stone Cherry album yet. They are showing their musical ability and the songs are great.

One of my favorite Black Stone Cherry c.d.'s. They just have the perfect beat and rhythm. Nice and energizing.
