Bought this to replace our phone . Great replacement.

We were able to call home at no charge from India.

Cheap phone plan, its a little buggy to setup because for me the website didnt work so i needed to use my laptop but other wise your paying 60 for a year not a month like landline

Bought another unit because MJ doesn't replace old or defective units. Plus, when renewing, they charge a processing fee. Best Buy's service was fine.

The service seems to go out more frequently than when I had VOIP with Xfinity (Comcast). The call quality is less than desirable (but maybe not a huge issue since we don't use the house phone that often). I noticed that it seems to bog down the computer that it is connected to as well. When I shut down the app, the computer seems ok, but when I restart it (and it has to be running on the computer in order to work for a house phone), the computer slows down again. All in all, I think after a year, I might consider just getting rid of the house phone because I can't see paying for this service. Also, in case you expect to see caller ID, don't - it doesn't work with Magic Jack which is a pain because of all of the RoboCalls that everyone gets these days.

Might have worked well but had to return it since i could not port my home phone number to the Magic Jack device. That was the whole purpose of that purchase.

I own a commercial IT company where I also install phone systems. Many VOIP phone systems do not support fax. For my customers who want a traditional fax machine in office instead of an online fax service, MagicJack works great.

Saving lots of money, I wasted lots money paying Att and Xfinity for many years . I don’t use home phone any more but still wanted keep my 30 year home phone number . Good choice

Saves a lot of money on the land line! Needs an internet connection though.

I had been using Magic Jack since the device upgrade to a none PC attached units, personally I owned few plus I referral to all my friends and families, this recent one I got it was for a friend too, and they reports that love the function and clarity of voices easy to use save money since it has no monthly fees.

I have really enjoyed this MagicJack phone. I gave up my land line and purchased one of these . Best thing I could have done. I was able to free up a bill for savings and I got the same quality service. Everyone should purchase one you will be glad you did.

This is a great alternative to lan line phone systems. I was paying$110a month for my phone and now I pay only $48 a year. Huge savings.

Classic, been around a long time, true VOIP Just be careful setting up for 911 calls your local state will drop a bill on you. For actual receiver phones to go with beware not all the phones will work with Ethernet.

Perfect way to save anywhere from 30 to 75 dollars a month on phone charges depending on your service. An internet connection and this device and your bill goes to like $35 A YEAR. And you probably can still use your existing phones and phone number.

5 stars! As simpe as “2 + 2”. Mobile app works just perfect: that include quality of connection and quality of app itself. I chose to get a new number. For free I was able to get a very simple number.

Like to give it 5 stars because it works pretty well, but it gives off little annoying beeps a lot. I can live with the beeps, but it would be nice if they weren't there.
