I had issues with connecting. And sound had static.

I am hoping I can return this for a refund after I get my phone number ported back. There is absolutely NO customer service and the phone line keeps disconnecting from the internet for no reason. I have a Vonage phone and it works with no interruption. I paid for the "concierge" service at Magic Jack and it isn't any better than the regular phone number, or the "live chat" where I was #53 in line. Do not purchase this if you need reliable phone service. You will be very disappointed.

Buy it when on sale. It replaced a bad magicjack at home. Works well.

the price keeps goin up, soon i probably won't buy it anymore. you could get cellphone for free

The Best Buy sales staff told me one thing about this product.When setting this up, Magic Jack told me something totally different. $50 for the product, $20 for the service and another $10 for 911. They couldn't port my old number over, unless it was still in service with my cable company. They wanted me to reconnect my modem for the old phone to work. Which meant more money. Best Buy staff should know this before they sell this. There is no refund.

Previously activated by another person in another state. Returned to Best Buy and bought another from them which activated just fine. That is the 4/18 purchase

Could not get it to work with our ATT tv's and they are all "Smart tv's." Tried to speak with someone and that did not happen either. Returned the product to Best Buy for a full refund.

I ordered for the new magic jack. But I received opened and used one. I had to spend time unnecessary with the magic customer support.

The device has not worked correctly since I purchased it. Had an older model for years, and it worked well (until it failed). The company (MagicJack) has worse than horrendous customer service. You cannot contact a real human, and can only 'Chat' with a representative that is condescending and likely a 6th grader with a script book. (not to demean 6th graders - most of them are smart). Have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well. Run from this companies product!!!!!

This is an ok product especially if u don't want a bill, but was a headache to set up

Did use, Returned, I was not interested in monthly subscription fee.

We found the product was not compatible with our internet subscription, unless we upgraded the speed, which would have a monthly cost increase at least equal to the land telephone line we were hoping to replace. Best Buy would not refund the money to my credit card, but would only issue a "gift card" for the value. Not satisfactory to me.

COSTS MORE, SAME POOR QUALITY OF PHONE CLARITY. USB FITTING STILL THE WEAKEST PART OF THE DEVIC. IT DOESN'T FIT TIGHT AND WIGGLES IN USB PORT OVER TIME AND EASY USE. IT'S MADE NOT TO LAST TOO LONG AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN THE PHILIPPINES, NOT IN THE USA. SERVICE TAKES A VERY LONG TIME, WITH MOST OF IT BEING POLITE AND NOT GETTING DOWN TO THE PROBLEM AT HAND, IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE GOING IN CIRCLES.

The device continues to drop at least half of all incoming calls. This happens after answering the call, hearing the caller, then the call drops. Very frustrating since we've had one in-house Geek Squad service call to correct the problem. We have another Geek Squad service scheduled. All outgoing calls work great.

Mischeduled getting my product installed. Prouduced was bac ordered and I had to get another brand.
