Good value. Instructions were not accurate. Finally was able to reach someone to speak with and we finished effectively. You will need a computer or phone with the app to retrieve the messages.

The set up is easy. The website is helpful. The cost is low and worthwhile. After a few weeks of magic jack, I can say that the system is stable and reliable. There are useful features but must access thru website.

    Whole house phone service

Longtime user. It becomes just as cheap to purchase new device each year than simply extending contract. Though most folks have veered away from landlines, I still like the convenience of attaching MagicJack to base unit of 10 device cordless phone system, providing ‘whole house’ phone service. I only wish the price for simply extending contract was more competitive.

Magic Jack was an awesome replacement for our house phone. I was able to port my house number over with problems at all. The phone works just the same as my old lane line. You can even have your Magic Jack ring on your cell phone.

Works real well. Gonna save me money from having an expensive landline from the major telephone company. Only problem I found is the time stamp is an hour ahead from me, and also caller Id hasn’t been showing the name of who is calling. May be something in settings I’m missing.

Works great, good quality , saves lot of money compared to other VOIP providers.. App is unreliable sometimes as it can log-off and then you won't receive calls through the app .. Other surprise is when you buy the renewal package , magic jack charges admin fee on top of the taxes... almost like paying double tax..

I have had no problems so far. I have had it about 3 weeks. I hooked it up myself, I am in my 70s. I ordered these phones, VTech CS6719-2 2-Handset Expandable Cordless Phone with Caller ID/Call Waiting, Handset Intercom & Backlit Display/Keypad I have the main one by the router and the other one in the bedroom.

My cable internet company offers VOIP service for $30 a month and I barely used my landline. I canceled my phone service through my cable internet provider and paid to port over my phone number to magic jack. The price can’t be beat for the same service. I love that I’m saving money and still have a landline for my limited needs.

I've had magicJack for over 5 years I had to buy a new one because the modems have been all upgraded to the newer technology and so the magicJack had to be renewed to match the newer technology I love it it's very inexpensive to have and it doesn't really have many problems that go along with it it's actually great

It's working fine. Only concern I have is that when I call my contacts, unknown caller shows up on their collars ID. I tried calling magic jack customer service but hold time was excessive and had to hang up. Hope this corona situation is over soon then I can discuss my issues with the provider.

I've been using a MJ for many years. Problem was my old one required being plugged into the USB of an operational computer in order to work. I hated having a computer running 24/7 just for a VOIP line that I rarely use, so I upgraded to this one that plugs into my router instead. It does the trick and is a decent, fairly cheap way to have a quasi-land line.
