Thought this was a good take on one of my most favorite Disney movies, although it had a twist on it like a more recent Disney release. I thought Angelina Jolie did a great job and I liked the CGI implemented here.

Loved the movie. Loved Disney's twist on the original cartoon version. Have watched it 4 times since purchase.

The great twist is surprisingly unexpected . You feel for the villain , a great story finally told completely.

The Sleeping Beauty story as told from the viewpoint of Maleficent. Acting is a little wooden, especially Elle Fanning as Sleeping Beauty. Good art design and graphics. Could be a little scary for younger children.

I really enjoyed the the perspective they took on this classic character. Angelina Jolie was superb as always.

An effective backstory makes her transformation to villan work. I found the relationship with the guy who would be king frustrating. Jolie's performance and satisfying ending make the film watchable more than once.

Surprising and fanciful, this movie combines animation and realism effectively. The plot is entertaining and contains a sweet and simple human message that transcends the fairytale "ever after" expected conclusion.
