This is an ok movie maybe just not for everyone. This is kinda like Snow White and the Huntsman vs Disney Snow White. As far as Quality of the Blu-ray transfer its Excellent Picture - 5 star Sound - 5 star I recommend any Disney fan to give it a watch

Angelina Jolie did a marvelous job in this film. It tells the story of Sleeping Beauty before she went into a deep sleep. The ending was a little predictable but the makeup and special effects were good. A nice film to watch at home with the family.

I'm not one of those guys that sits for 2 hours to watch a Disney movie, but some how I got talked in to it by my kids, and let me tell you, I was really surprised, it is a great movie, with out hesitating I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I don't know if I just bought into the hype for this movie but I just found it kind of OK. I did think seeing the story told from the other side was cool, but other and that the only positive thing I can say is it had great visual effects.

Try it at your own risk. IMO, best leave it for kids (although I'm not sure if even they'd enjoy this just another fairy tale that's best left untold, no matter how it turns out in the end........... as if it were a surprising twist!!!).

This movie twists the story of Sleeping Beauty around with Maleficient cast as a good fairy in this story. The CG is a bit over the top and distracts from the story a bit but still worth a watch...

This movie was alright. Not great not bad. Graphics were a bit short of what I expected from Disney but good enough to not mind. Does tie in with but not the same as sleeping beauty back story. Give it a watch.

In anger and hurt Malificent did as she felt she had to. I; however; liked how they showed the kindness that was still in her heart; as it had in the beginning of the movie; showed through again in the end.

Maybe not what I expected as an adult but I'm sure young kids would enjoy it. The computer animation felt a little off or maybe the fantastical creatures were just too odd looking. It's an ok story.

Picture and audio are great on this blu ray. Movie is above average, I'm not a Jolie fan but she was perfect casting for the role. Worth seeing, but most should rent unless you can get it cheap.

It was heading for a great film but just like that! Turned sappy and very weak 2nd half. All in all not bad worth the watch and wouldnt spend more than $5-6.00. Just coulda been better

I had no idea what this movie was about when my grandaughters wanted to see it but I bought it at their insistence. They are ages 8 and 12. They liked it but I thought it too dark and sinister.

Jolie was good, as always, but storyline and supporting actors were beneath her standards. I'm not sure why she would do a substandard movie like this anyway and I was extremely disappointed.

Entertaining movie, a reimagining of Sleeping Beauty from the the villains perspective, with a solid AV presentation.

Has a different view into the character. I am a purest so I didn't really like the turning Maleficent into a sympathizing character was good. But good graphics and acting for the most part.

The movie was alright and I would recommend it. I was really disappointed to find out that they were not releasing a 3d version of the film. I will not be double dipping for the 3d version.

I have to be honest, this was a cute film and it was beautiful with some great special effects; but for me it fell short and ended up being fairly forgettable. Perhaps better as a rental.

4K video was very dark unlike most Disney Movies. Atmos Codec wasn't very fulfilling. Strange twist on a classic story

This is outside of the normal Disney realm. It is very dark & takes an extreme twist away from the original Sleeping Beauty. I was disappointed because I love the original fairytale.

You cannot help but compare this movie to the animated version but in the end, has a completely different conclusion. The special effects are great. The whole family will enjoy it.
