I went reluctantly to see this with my wife. And I'm glad I did. The movie has action adventure, awesome special effects. Has a lovey dovey story for the ladies. I was actually surprised how much I liked this

Acting by Jolie was amazing.. Told a different side of the story then the animated Disney version that i was used to. But the new story and the traditional story were still intertwined.. EXCELLENT MOVIE

This was a delightful take on the story of Sleeping Beauty. I didnt find it too dark or scary for my nieces and daughter. It would be interesting if they plan on doing this for all the disney princess films.

Loovvvee this movie! The storyline, acting, except by King stephan, is really great. the twist it turns on the original dark movie is nice and to get a history going about Maleficent was a nice beginning.

New twist on an old tale, good entertainment for whole family. This movie sheds new light on the classic sleeping beauty story. It brings a whole new and exciting mood to a character thought to be pure evil.

This movie gives a different twist to the movie Sleeping Beauty which many are so familiar with. It is one that can be enjoyed as a family together. Do not believe that you'd be disappointed with this movie.

The graphics are so beautiful in this movie. I bought this so I could watch it with my grandchildren. It's hard to get them to be still for long but they loved it and didn't leave the room during the movie.

The Blu-Ray (including DVD) version of MALEFICENT was on sale for only $9.99. This is a bargain! The movie is an enjoyable twist on the old fairy tale. I had to buy one and put it under the Christmas tree.

I really enjoyed Maleficent, but think there were some missed opportunities to really make it shine. Overall, the film is visually stunning and well-directed and the actors bring stellar performances, especially Jolie. Some of the characters are more two-dimensional but the actors bring out as much life as they can in them to make it a solid film.

I wasn't sure how this was going to play considering this is Disney, but to my surprise it was better than I ever imagined. Angelina Jolie is phenomenal and the action and special effects were totally cool!

Bought for my child, however I loved it just as much as she did. I would recommend to any of those that like Disney movies. Crank up the surround Sound sit back and enjoy a fairytale right before your eyes.

Disney's favorite villain finally gets her just deserved in this backstory that reveals the entire story and teaches the lesson that sometimes "bad" isn't all bad. A beautiful adventure fairy tale at last!

On New Years Eve, I shared this movie with friends, we all loved the movie it was excellant. Can't wait to watch it again because sometimes one does not catch all the aspects of a movie. Excellant choice.

I wasn't sure if this was going to be my kind of thing but my pre-teen girls got it for Christmas. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by a good plot along with amazing effects. I would recommend it.

Maleficent is one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. Angelina Jolie is magnificent in this movie. My family has watched the movie multiple times and we have only owned it a for a few days.

This is a great reimagining of the classing Sleeping Beauty movie I watched as a kid. Angelina Jolie is perfect as this character. The actual visuals and sound are also fantastic on this. An easy must buy.

When I saw this movie in the theatre I never expected how it would end. It's one of the sweetest movies I have ever seen. Angelina Jolie's acting ability is mind blowing. This movie is a definite classic.

And decided right then and there we'd be adding it to our home collection. Finally able to do so, and also very glad it has all 3 versions so we can watch it anywhere.

Very good movie! It was not near as dark as I thought it might have been. I heard from my friends that it was good so I checked it out and they were right. Good enough that I let my whole family watch it.

A.J. is a great actress and in this type of roll she excels. This not the way or the story we were told in our childhood and it turns out the it is closer to the original and retold here in better detail.
