This live version of the classic Sleeping Beauty did stray from the original in a couple of key points but I found it to be very enjoyable. A couple scenes may be too intense for young children.

Great family movie. Easy to add to my Disney Everwhere Movie Collection which adds value to my purchase that had a Best Buy great price and I also used my Best Buy reward to make the price even better.

When Maleficent first came out in theaters, I was skeptical. But, it did well and the comments I heard about it were positive. After watching it, the praise is deserved. It is probably too scary for smaller children, but it is an interesting twist on the story and Angelinia Jolie does a great job in the lead role. It is worth checking out.

New twist to an old story. Disney has gone digital now on itunes and Google play. Disney movies anywhere links movies across itunes and android to now allow you watch movies across both platforms. Nice

I am not a big fan of the lead actress but in this case it helps because she is not supposed to be liked. The special effects are great and the whole movie is good but not for small children

If you like fairy tales and you will like or you'll hate this film. It's an awesome filmed and well acted by Angelina Jolie, but the story is so over the top with the male hatred it becomes ludicrous.

This was one of the best films of 2014, in my humble opinion. I saw it 3 times in the theater and still bought it to have at home. It was a new spin on an old tale and it was refreshing and creative.

This movie had a nice twist on the original Disney cartoon version of the story. It worked really well. Ended it nicely with the typical Disney fairy tale ofthey lived happily ever after (no sequel).

We owned Maleicent as a DVD Since it came out. We upgraded our system components and purchased the 4K version to take advantage of it!

saw this movie on the theater and decided to add to the Blu-ray collection...the movie itself is great with the retelling of the sleeping beauty story, there's some scenes that could do some adjustment but overall its entertaining...the disc contains some extra stuff that's fairly common nowadays, all in all pretty entertaining experience

Was pleasantly surprised at this rendition of Sleeping Beauty. Angelia Jolie's acting skills shown brightly throughout the movie. Loved the "twist" of the story. Unlike any other sequels done before!

Not only is this an instant classic, but it has a real twist in the story that is amazing. Character develop makes you care about them. I love the fairies are really funny. Maleficent is magnificent.

I really liked this movie. Angelina does an excellent job at playing, what we all thought was, the monster. I bought this particular one for my brother's grilfriend as she's a Disney movie fanatic.

At first I thought OMG this is a total kids movie, then the movie takes a turn into a dark, engaging and dramatically produced film. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase if you adore fantasy and action.

A very different spin on a classic movie from my childhood.

Thought the idea of developing a "bad Witch" from a innocent and returning the latter to an innocent again, following what has been previously related, was a welcomed change and great entertainment.

I really enjoyed the retelling of this age old tale with a new twist. Angelina Jolie is perfect in the title role. The story is fresh and well done, and the young actors do an excellent job as well.

A great movie, it had a great twist to the Classic Disney original. I would recommend it to everyone who loves all the classics. Who wouldn't want to know what happens outside of the original story.

I took my son to see this movie in the theater. We both enjoyed it so much, and I had doubts about it to begin with. I could not wait to purchase it. The price for the combo was too good to pass up!
