Be warned this is not the Sleepy Beauty story that you know. Although it's entertaining, if you're a die hard fan of the original you'll spend the entire movie comparing it to the animated version.

This version of Maleficent tale is a great spin on the classic Sleeping Beauty we all loved growing up. It shows a look into why Maleficent would curse a child and how she really does have a heart.

The movie is beautifully filmed and the cgi effects are really cool. Interesting story for kids and adults, but young kids might be frightened by Maleficent and or the battle sequences. Good movie.

I enjoyed this version of Sleeping Beauty. We know Maleficent as a villain but this film shows that she wasn't always one but because of the cruelty of another person she became evil. It shows that one can love again. The special effects were good and the film was really pretty to watch.

Saw this originally in the theater. Thought Angelina Jolie was great! Finally managed to get a blu ray copy to add to my movie collection!

I bought this for someone as a Christmas present, so I can't comment on all the bells and whistles of the home release. I enjoyed the movie in the theater and wanted someone else to enjoy it too.

This is a must have for any steelbook collector :D. The front and back look amazing and the video quality, 4K snob here, this looks great!

This movie definitely brings a unique twist on the traditional sleeping beauty story. The lesson that people of all ages can get from it, makes worthy its purchase. Great performance by A. Jolie.

Wasn't really a fan of Angelina Jolie but I thought she was fantastic in this movie. It was a lovely fairy tale from start to finish.

This movies brings the elements of Sleeping Beauty and Lord of the Rings together in an awesome experience... well suited for the little princess as well as the men and boys in a family. Enjoy it!

I thought this movie was well done. So I bought a copy for me and my girlfriend and her daughter and one for me. I highly recommend this copy. Best Buy also price matched for me which was awesome.

I loved the new twist to this old favorite. Maleficient is my daughters favorite Disney evil character. This really changed our feelings and are glad she is not evil. Still her favorite character.

Story, acting and effects all hit the mark with this one. A story that will bring smiles and tears but have you leaving the theater with a strange feeling that things will somehow always work out.

The truth behind Maleficent's curse revealed and the love we've has for the seemingly dark villain vindicated. From start to finish Maleficent will enchant you and hold you captive to her powers.

I didn't realized how much i enjoy Angelina Jolie's movies until now. I was very impressed with her performance and the versatility that she displayed. My wife also gives this movie a 5 out of 5.

I was very wary when I was watching this move but it was such a nice surprise and the parts that made me smile and the reasoning for the curse was wonderful. A great surprise in Plot and content.

I bought the dvd when it first came out. on sale for $19.99. blue ray, dvd and digital. I had my mystery points worth $5 so I used that towards this. Only paid $15. :0) movie is really good too !
