This movie is a great twist to the sleeping beauty movie. It's from maleficent's point of view and explains why she did what she did. The visuals are perfect. Love love love it!

This is one of my favorite movies to come out in a long time! Angelina Jolie is phenomenal in this role! It's a very heartwarming story. It's a little scary for little ones though.

I bought this for my 5year old granddaughter. She loves it. Not much scares her and she really loves the story of sleeping beauty so it was perfect.

We didn't know what to expect when we first saw Maleficent, but came away loving the story. It's not the "Sleeping Beauty" from our childhood. It's an exciting and touching twist!

Picked up Maleficent as an extra item on the way to the cashier. It was well worth it. Love the Disney "magic" as only Disney can do! Great story and beautiful scenery! A must see!

Angelina Jolie was awesome in this film just like in the original. This movie is for all ages and very enjoyable. Great buy!!

Although you know the story, its altered to show a sympathetic side to maleficent. It shows that not everyone is born evil and gives better meaning to the story of sleeping beauty.

I'm in love with this movie! The cinematography is absolutely amazing! The story is classic with a new twist. This movie should be in everyone's collection! I highly recommend it!

I would highly suggest this movie. Very good movie, would of been better if offered a 3 D version of this movie. I did see it in 3 D at the movie theater and loved the 3D effects.

See Maleficient in a whole new light! Great movie! Had us cheering for Maleficient, had tears shed for her as she was became broken- hearted, victimized and then triumped in love!

I'm not a big fan of Disney, Harry Potter or Narnia type movies, but this was excellent and I highly recommend it.

I would probably say that the movie was a 7 out of 10. The picture quality is pretty good for the technology today. It is nice to see Disney come at the villain from a different angle. It is also nice for them not to just re purpose the same movie put it in live action. Angelina does a great job as Maleficent.

My oldest was ecstatic when she received this movie as one of her Christmas gifts. She is in love with the quality of the movie and the picture. It is one of her favorite movies.

Bought this for my wife and daughter who didn't see it prior to owning the DVD. They love the movie and have watched it more and a few times, always enjoying themselves.

At first, the plot seemed to turn a little dark. But, as it continued, the underlying story emerged and it was a wonderful version of sleeping beauty that I had never thought of.

My whole family enjoyed this movie. We love Disney's Sleeping Beauty, and this was a nice "twist" on the backstory while still keeping true to most if the animated tale. Angela Jolie is perfect as Maleficent! May be too scary for 5 & under, but my 5 yr old daughter said she wasn't scared. She loved this movie.

I don't particularly like remakes of classic stories or Angelina Jolie, but this movie was great. Tells the story from a new perspective. I am glad I purchased it and would again.

I bought the Blu-Ray 3-Disc Version of Maleficent. I enjoyed the movie immensely. The quality is great. I still need to view all the extras but am looking forward to that as well.

Great movie a must see Angelina Jolee was excellent in this movie.
