The special effect was ok and the costume was fine but I think this sequel is really unnecessary, it seemed disney forced to prolong the story that was not quite capitalizing. Angelina Jolie was the only reason I wanted to watch. That’s all.

Angelina Jolie reprises her Maleficent role (see the original, it is fantastic!) However, this movie squanders the talents of Michelle Pfieffer and Angelina Jolie. It is not a bad movie, but not as great as it could have been.

This movie didn't really need a sequel, the begging of the movie sets up a pretty interesting scenario with the characters we loved from the first, but it all kinda falls apart after the first half hour.

Didn't follow well from the first movie (all anger issues were resolved and everything was happy, this movie she started angry again. Seemed to be disconnected a bit. More action, than story.

The plot seemed predictable. The strength of both films is Angelina Jolie, but unfortunately, her role in this sequel is smaller and less interesting.

The first Maleficent film was much better. It felt more original and entertaining than this one. The second film Mistress of Evil is overly done

It's well made, and well performed, but the core is somewhat forgettable. This is just under the quality of the first one.

I loved the first movie! But I do feel that they ruined Maleficent's aura in the second movie. Great action sequences though!
