I figured I would finally get a good beard trimmer, one that wasn't $25 and would last me a while. Manscaped makes a claim that all you need is "one pass" to shave, however it takes me over 45 minutes to trim my beard with this terrible product, even if I only have a stubble. If I use the guard and have the setting anything past 2.5, it won't even trim any of the hairs. If you want your jaw line trimmed, good luck, you'll have to make at least 5 passes to get a resemblance of a difference, and even then it won't cut your hairs evenly. The only nice thing is the case it comes with and the water proof capability. If you don't use the guard, you will cut yourself so beware of near you ear lobe and lips. Don't bother spending a hundred bucks on this, with the time it takes to trim your beard they should be paying you... I would return it but 30 days to return something is a joke when you're growing out a beard.

It’s advertised as safe for both wet and dry use, but when I tried it in wet conditions, the performance noticeably dropped, as if the power was reduced by 60%. To be fair, this could be a one-off issue with my unit, but it was still incredibly frustrating. For a product marketed with this versatility, I expected more consistent performance.

Excellent Beard Trimmer

I had been using a barber shop quality brand trimmer for years before it finally broke down, and this trimmer is easily the next best thing for a fraction of the price. The beard care products are helpful as well, I never knew what using more than just shampoo could do for the look and feel of a beard.
