Fun party game, miss the depth of the old mario golf games though

Little hard to figure out how it works but it's fun to play

The game is fun if you have someone to play with. Aside from that online play is lame, course select is short and there was no DLC follow up for courses.

Classic Mario golf action, including good story mode

Love this game. It is a great for kids and adults!!

Very odd game. I was under the impression it would be similar to that as Mario Golf on the GameCube but unfortunately it is not. It’s very lackluster for me the gameplay is similar yet not to the extend of fun as the GameCube one was.

Game was just ok. Not really something I would like to play. It's gimmicky and only lasted me a few days before I got tired of it. There are better golf games out there.

Solid mario sports title but like tennis, i expect it to imrove significantly after dlc. Wasnt a huge fan of nee modes. Worth it to play casually but not as dedicated experience.

Great game a little bit of a learning curve but it becomes fun and addicting

Terrible game. So bummed. This is why you should always ALWAYS thoroughly read through the reviews of a game from the pro game reviewers and the people who, like you, have families, etc. I was looking for, forward to, anything similar to Wii Golf which, my god that was a fun game when we had a Wii. It was simple enough to play and have fun, but deep enough you could, in fact, work on your golf swing, well, sorta. You had the best of both worlds, a bit arcade but a bit serious, great balance. Mario Golf, to quote so many reviewers, is so absolutely pointless. If you know a bit about golf this game isn't for you, if you know nothing about golf but want a fun family game to play, this also isn't for you. I'm not sure WHO this game is for, to be honest. Do you like playing golf with controls so dumbed down you're just moving the controller and mashing keys? Do you like a game where you have to run, yes, RUN as part of the game just to make a checkpoint to, wait for it, play golf? So pointless. My wife put it best, maybe this game was made for people who want to collect all Mario titled games Nintendo churns out to put on a shelf. It's certainly not enjoyable for a family who wanted to [gasp] just play a little simulated golf together. Which is to say, again, this isn't a golf game, isn't not even a proper Mario game, it's for suckers who just think "oh cool, this will be like golf!" Nope. Like golf and own a Switch? Welp, keep on waiting. I wanted to return this so bad and I hadn't opened it but I waited too long to try to return it to Best Buy I think so am stuck with the game that, eventually, due to not feeling any recourse, we opened, played, and hated it. Played it one day and poured $50+ down the drain. Maybe we can resell it? Dunno.

It’s ok game. Was expecting to be more fun just cause if the fact it’s Mario and friends but it’s fun!

There are some interesting quirks to the gameplay but it's not as fun or in-depth as past games in the series and a far cry from the brilliance of Playstations Everybody's Golf series.

This game is amazing, but he super golf game mode is so fun!!

Kids are loving playing this game on their Nintendo Switch

Mario plays golf, brings friends, fun is had by all.

It is fun but nothing unique from the other golf games. So, I can say this is pricey for just a golf game.
