I was hoping this game would be on par with previous Mario Golf entries, but it kinda falls flat. Maybe with some future updates, it will make me play it again.

If you are comparing to the classic N64 Mario golf. Pass this over. More of a speed golf time Trial game. 4-6 hours to beat the entire story line

Was really disappointed, it was very difficult to play with joycons. I got the game for my children and they couldn’t figure out the swing.

the game is fun and easy. finished it in about 20 hours.

This game is ok, I don’t play it nearly as much as my other Mario games.

Its good but don't really care for the new style of golf

not liking placement of controls, but im sure you can switch placement of controls? until i figure out its a 3.

Not as good as the 64 or Gamecube version but still worth checking out.

Now I didn't get to try the blitz golf mode with friends, but the rest of the game is kind of meh

Mario golf is a fun game. Although the story mode ended abruptly without unlocking all attributes

they took away to many aspects from the original N64 version its not half as much fun

Comes close to a reminder of what makes these games great, but just feels empty.

Game keeps crashing mid game and brings you back to the start screen. It’s happened 3 times playing with my daughter in about 1 hours time. Very disappointed. Hopefully Nintendo will patch this but I should have waited for them to fixes the bugs. Shame on Nintendo for rushing this out, typically they are top notch

Very disappointed with this game. Took some of the skill that was necessary to play the older games out. I have more fun with Mario golf on the NES (free on switch already) and mario golf 64 (also free on switch) than this one.

Neither my friend nor I had much fun playing this game. It functions. . .it's just not fun. We love Mario Kart and Hot Shots Golf so had high hopes. They were double-dashed. It wasn't always obvious where to go to hit your next shot nor where the actual green/hole was. The power ups didn't make it more exciting/fun and felt very out of place. Racing to hit the ball faster than your opponent doesn't make golf more fun for me. We played one session and don't plan to play it again.

Single player mode is lacking. I would not recommend if you are purchasing just for a single player experience.

I was hoping this would be as fun as Mario Golf 64, but it is not. They took taunting away, they made the controls very confusing, and I feel like I have to be an expert to play.

A weak entry in the Mario Golf series. A boring and cumbersome adventure mode was a big let down. The AI is terrible and unless you have friends to play with, there isn't much here.
