Unpolished

They tried to do way too much with this game rather than focusing on the golf part. As a result this is an unpolished mess to play. The controls and indicators are incredibly bad. For some rwason they chose not to put any indicator for wind direction or speed. You basically have to guess. No indicator for what club youre using either, you have to go up to the top view to see it. The greens are probably the worst if all. No line indicator and a very annoying grid that just gets in the way. Even worse, the game constantly stops your shots short at the hole or has the shot curve or loop around the hole, it doesn't even feel natural. The ball just goes all over the place on the green for no reason. It is nearly impossible to tell the angle and direction the ball is going to go. I haven't gotten to the special courses yet nor have I used the piwerups. They all seem like gimicks that get in the way of golf. Only good part that was fun was seeng hazards as enemies. The problem is that they intentjonaly put them in places you would never shoot, so they are just asthetic kitch on the course. I really can't believe they are charging $60 for this trash. Good thing I got the cartridge so I can resell it.
