This is not Hot Shots

I didn’t care for the simplistic single button meter or the graphics. Gameplay with others is still fun but gets boring really quick.

Tries Too Hard to Be Different with Mixed Results

I really want to like this game; from the trailer, to the characters, as well as the visuals, this game had real promise for greatness. But in playing it, it seems that the whole point is not to calculate your shots or gain skill, but blindly hit the ball to finish the fastest. What should be great family fun, falls flat and leaves me wanting a much more simplified, classic approach to Mario Golf.
