we have other Mario games but this one is of our favorite

I purchased this along with the 3DS XL gaming console to give my kiddo some options on games. It was the second game he played (Luigi's Mansion was first!).

Great game. Has some levels that Mario kart 8 for Wii U didn't have most notable : Wario Shipyard, Rosalina's Ice World and Waluigi Pinball. There was also some characters that were different from Wii U version like the queen bee. Graphics are decent for the year it was made- pixels are what they are. Would recommend to friends.

First video game for my 6 year old daughter. Can’t go wrong with Mario. He was fun when I was a kid and does the trick now as well!

So I wanna start by saying if you're a fan of the series you don't even need to read this. This game is an all time classic series and it's nostalgic. They have a ton of the old maps and characters and plenty of new characters to unlock giving you something to play solo for. Best part of the game is playing online with people from all over and your friends

Mario Kart 7 is a fantastic addition to a reliably fun series that Nintendo pioneered long ago and has remained the casual gamer's easy choice for multiplayer racing. The game features favorite Nintendo characters racing new and old tracks, making for a reliably fun experience. Where the game excels is the important stuff - it's fun, colorful, and safe for all ages. No gore or foul language also makes it a completely family friendly endeavor. The racing is smooth, and the power ups are suitably outrageous, if a tad familiar at this point. Where the game stumbles is some of its familiarity makes the experience feel slightly stale. In addition, in spite of the games increased customization of vehicles and attempt to add flying and underwater sections, the risk is minimal in execution. The flying is very limited, and the underwater moments seem to have little impact on controlling the vehicle, thus making those sections feel more cosmetic than anything else. Where the game struggles the most however, is that its sense of speed is often slow. In a racing game, this can affect the fun. Worse is the "rubber band" AI, where some of the power ups feel cheap and too unfair at times. Still, these flaws are minor. For a superior take on kart style racing, Sonic Racing: Transformed is a bigger, faster, deeper experience. But if you want something reliable and fun, look no further. Mario Kart 7 is great!

Huge Mario fan? Definitely pick this up! Recognized as a world-favorite, Mario and his friends are off to yet another set of race courses and the stakes are high! I remember when Mario Kart first came to DS, it was great! Now it's the world-renouned MK7 title for DS. Everything you loved on the WiiU version, TO GO!

Nintendo as always puts out an amazing Mario Kart game. I love that it has the download play feature!

Great game. Really love the maps and love playing local coop with kids I work with. I always lose but its always a fun time.

I grew up playing Nintendo from Mario to super Mario to Mario and Luigi all those games are great and then when they decided to come out with the racing car game with Mario that was like the ultimate best I can tell you how much fun me and my family have playing this game at times takes me back to my childhood

Mario Kart has always been simple to pick up and play and this is no exception. Good for quick pick up and play and always a thrill. A must for any fan of Mario Kart.

There aren't bad mario kart games. They're always fun and a great way to kill some time. The online mode works really well for me personally.
