I still play Mario Kart 64 religiously, but I think 8 Deluxe is edging it out. There's something so perfect about every mode and I don't have to use the old worn out 64 controller. Some of the A.I. is a little rubberbandy and the spiked shell is pure evil, but it's always a good time.

This game does not disappoint if you are a fan of the Mario Kart series!

If you have a Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 is a must have, yes we know is very similar to the older Mario Karts, but is one of the most fun racing games and includes a couple of the old tracks from previews games. With the current lack of titles for the Switch, this is definitely one game to have.

If you played the Wii U version, this is pretty much the carbon copy of it with all the DLC. The game is family and kid friendly. We play on family night and we all have a blast. They offer a variety of control methods, where you can use the Pro controller, a single Joycon or both Joycons.

Mario Kart 8 is so much fun! I thought it would be boring because we have a bunch of other racing games, but there are different types of battles and arenas. It’s pretty fun!

Great fun for all. Have the online expansion which effectively doubles the number courses, still a great gift.

Talk about needing something to occupy the family!!!! This did the trick. We now play 4 player each night for about 30 minutes. Its a great way to spend time with the family + talk a little trash to my kids/wife w/o getting kicked out of the house.

This is the course is all time favorite Mario Bowser Luigi all the good guys right! I love this game because my 4-year-old can play it and have fun while he's learning the switch. Highly recommended!

This is the best version of MK ever! It's so fun and difficult and kid friendly but also entertaining enough for an adult. The controls are good. and the character options are great! I love this game it's probably my favorite. Highly recommend

New levels, New games and it seems like the difficulty was turned up just a notch. Perfect Birthday present for anyone. The other cool thing is that Mario games always seem to keep a high resale value. So if you get bored of it, just trade it in. Always a Nostalgic experience playing Mario Kart with my kids.

Mario Kart is an institution. It will never not be a fun game. That said, there are too many carbon copy characters. Mario, Baby Mario, Tanooki Mario, Metal Mario, Peach, Baby Peach, Cat Peach, and Pink Gold Peach. Why do we need padding when it comes to the same characters? I hope Mario Kart is slowly going the way of Smash Bros. Playing as Link and the Splatoon kids, not to mention Animal Crossing characters, feels like a natural progression. All the more need for new characters in the Mario Kart universe, not carbon copies!

Finally the return of Mario Kart with Mario Kart 8 deluxe. This is the most fun I have ever had playing a Nintendo game. The graphics are terrific and this a game for everyone to join in on the fun. I definitely will recommend this for anyone who is fortunate enough to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch.

Easy to pick up and play and highly re-playable. Settings allow novice users to jump in and join the fun. This game has given our family hours of great memories and is a must have for the Nintendo Switch.

Mario has been one of my kids favorite games for years! This game was purchased for my daughter to pass time while deployed out to sea. She loves the game and helped her get through a few rough times. I think this is a hit for most kids and young adults!

With the new Switch console out I was hoping for the next installments in many of the major Nintendo lineups, this includes the Mario Kart series. Albeit I was slightly disappointed when MK8 Deluxe was announced, after making the purchase I could not be happier. The graphics and frame rate have (seemingly) been overhauled in comparison to the Wii U version. This already alone gives Deluxe points in my book. The game offers all the same tracks and characters as the first installment PLUS all the available DLC originally released. They even include several bonus characters that did not appear at all in the Wii U version (King Boo, Dry Bones). The other major change in gameplay is the move from single hold items to dual holding of items; as well as a driver assist to help aid users in staying on track, good for beginners! The online runs smooth as butter and is easy to access, as well as the wireless switch local play. All in all it may not be the next numerical installment of Mario Kart but it's well worth the purchase in my book!

Mario Kart 8: Deluxe has so much going for it. Beautiful visuals and art design, a soundtrack that is fun and catchy, and plenty of replayability. I love the options the game gives in terms of selectable characters, modes, courses, and more. Great choice for all Nintendo Switch owners!

Purchased as a a game for a first time gamer. Product is easy to use and self explanatory. You do need to download the game. Fun to play and easy to learn. No issues with the software or downloading. Have fun!

As someone that grew up playing the original Mario Kart, this one brought back lots of fun memories. Great graphics and great fun. Great for all ages of the family.
