I love the older versions of this game and was so excited for the new version. It did not disappoint!! This game is awesome and I am loving playing it on my new Nintendo Switch. It is even better with all the new add ons like holding two items at once finally. Try it you will love it too!

This edition of Mario Kart 8 deluxe on the Nintendo Switch is a big improvement over the Wii U version. The framerates are cleaner, the controls are tighter and the extra characters and tracks add up to a lot more fun. Play alone or compete online with other players from around the world.

Modern versuon/update of a nostalgic game series and definitely delivers what i want out of it. Multi player is good as well.

It’s the best racing game on the Switch and a fun game to play with friends.

Wanted a Nintendo Switch for Christmas. After the BB rep explained about the Switch, had to call my niece's mom to find out what game she would like... She wanted the Mario Kart game... Good choice because she played it all day Christmas...

Other than Zelda BOTW this is a title that is a must own early on in the life of the Switch. Gameplay is spectacular as expected. Fun to play multiplayer. My only warning is 4 player on the Switch screen is tiny so buyer beware. If you can spare some coin go get yourself a pro controller.

Very enjoyable game. The racetracks are fun and attractive (and some are very nostalgic), the vehicle customization options are pretty neat, and I love the different local and online multiplayer options. I only wish there was Smash Bros-style item selection, because some of the items (I'm looking at you, blue shell) are pretty gnar, especially for less experienced gamers, and the CPs are BRUTAL with their use of them. A little more explanation of certain features of the game (de/activating smart-steering and fixed camera, base stats for characters before vehicle selection, etc) would be really helpful, but those topics are easily clarified online. Even confused, I couldn't stop playing, so it's fun enough to make up for any of that :)

Excellent game of course and getting it new at Best Buy was a plus

This was a purchase for my son. He loves the racetracks and the graphics. You don't have to worry about anything that's vulgar or inappropriate for a young child. Nintendo is the best when it comes to young children.

This is a game I keep regularly coming back to on my Switch, nearly 4 years after release. It's accessible to everyone, welcoming players of all skills, and that makes it a blast to play together. So much fun!

Although it may seem to be a glorified revision of Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U, they certainly made it worth while for Switch users. Graphics are outstanding and gameplay is a whole lot smoother. I've only played it for a handful of hours but it's certainly made my purchase all worth it.

Good for the kids and adults! Also a classic to play together.

Bought this game for my little brother. He really wanted it and seems to enjoy it. Now we just have to roll him out of the house for some exercise once in a while…well and to socialize

So fun! I love that this game includes maps from previous versions of Mario Kart! I haven't had a gaming system since the nintendo game cube so the nostalgia was real when seeing the old yoshi land maps and such from N64.

This was the first game I got with my Switch and I have played for many hours. I really enjoy playing this solo or with my family. Each track has many little things to discover. Funny things happen all the time when we play as a group.
