My kids had been asking for a switch for a long time. Finally got one and this was our first game. They love playing this game with all the different characters and vehicles. Now we just need more controllers so we can all play together.

Mario kart 8 deluxe is a great game to start off. Good for playing solo or with a group. All dlc are unlocked and the game has been fixed from previous flaws from the Wii U like double items. Mario kart is a good game but after a while it may be boring but it’s stil good.

Fun with the kids and evening better late night with the husband

Great game. I owned it on Wii u soon sad we didn't get a proper sequel but I've gone from being the only Wii u owner in my friends group to one of 6 switch owners so it's easier to play with friends now. Taking the game anywhere with me is also a nice bonus and it looks great.

Simply put, a must have. A blast solo or with friends. Numerous characters and upgrades (cars, wheels, sails) keep it interesting. Always good for spirited trash talking. Would recommend for all ages!

I love the card better just put it in switch lite and play

We still play it to this day love how more than 2 people can play on the same screen while hooked up to the TV

Great game and really fun. It’s almost impossible for you to get bored playing it. If so it would take hours because of all of the different races that you can go through and different characters/karts that you can choose.

I already had MK8 on the Wii U but it is definitely worth buying again. The portability factor makes it great and I have already played it with friends at work with the joy-cons being 2 controllers. Online battle mode is very, very fun! Definitely a must have for Switch owners.

This newest iteration builds on everything that was great about Mario Kart 8 with the addition of battle modes, all the DLC, and maybe most importantly, steering and acceleration assist. Thanks to these features, even young children and non-gamers can finally get in on the fun.

As always, Mario kart is great fun. Best Buy had this physical game for $10 less than anywhere else, AND it came with a year free of Nintendo switch online.

It’s great to play with family and a lot of fun for the kids. When playing on your own it feels like it’s tough enough on your own yet not crippling to the point of not being able to win a race nor is it so easy you’re always winning.

We purchased this game because my husband and I were looking for more games that we could play with our family and friends. This game is awesome and is everything we could have hoped for! The races are just as I remember, and the battle games are so much fun for 4+ people.

Mario Kart has always been a nostalgic game for me. So finally being able to play on the Switch has been amazing. Feels great to get behind the wheel of a go kart again and race again friends and battle for each others balloons. Game is just as fun as ever. Highly recommended!

Overall I really enjoyed playing this game. This game looks great and play great as well. Even though it's a remake of the Wii U title, which I didn't play, I feel this game should be added to every Nintendo Switch Owner's Library. This game is fun by yourself or with friends!

Mario Kart 8 has some subtle upgrades from the Wii U version but this is still the great, amazingly fun game from before. Has great family friendly options, easier control options and difficulty so the whole family can enjoy, regardless of skill level.

This game is very hard once you get 150cc! But 50cc makes it a breeze for younger ones .

This is the best family Switch game! Our dog ate one copy (literally) so I needed to buy another one. Fortunately, all of the game passes and extras that the kids bought were still available!

It seemed not too different from the original. A few new characters and a few new levels but I wish they'd just came out with 9. All in all I still a great game

Wonderful game with simple mechanics. Great for my 4 and 2 year old to play together. It even has an assisted driving move that helps the character stay on the road. I would recommend this to anyone that has children and wants them to learn simple game mechanics.
