Its a great game to play with friends and family. However I got it on sale and any Nintendo game thats been our for more than 2 years shouldn't be priced at $60. But thats my opinion.

This iteration of Mario Kart is great, and probably the most enjoyable I've had playing this series since 64. FYI- my opinion is that playing split screen with two joycons with the wristband attachments on is serviceable, but not great due to the small size of the controllers.

Mario Kart 8 was terrific on the Wii U, and this deluxe version is even better. With this version all of the DLC is included, giving you a total of 48 courses and 40+ characters to play as. But the best addition is the extensive battle mode featuring 8 arenas and 5 game types, replacing the disappointing battle mode from the original MK8 that was played on a few grand prix tracks. Having all the characters and courses available from the start is great if you've played the game before or if you're eager to jump into multiplayer, but because of that there's not much to unlock aside from kart parts. Also internet play now requires a paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, and you may not have as many controllers to use for multiplayer (most people had a few extra Wii remotes to play the original MK8 since they were inexpensive compared to joy-cons).

Nintendo has continued their amazing tradition of Mario Kart games. I remember playing the original Mario Kart on the SNES and this game, with better graphics and gameplay, still continues the Mario Kart legacy!

I am a Nintendo honk, but have never been a huge fan of MK in general. This one is pretty fun and the online experience is better than Nintendo has provided in the past. I got it on sale, so I can't complain.

My nephew loved this game so much! Im so glad i was able to afford it as a gift.

This is the definite edition of Mario Kart 8. There are so many vehicles and things to unlock in the game, giving it a great replay value. Perfect for those wanting to race online, or with friends, this is a great game for anyone with a Nintendo Switch.

This is Mario Kart, specifically, it's a Switch port of the Wii U Mario Kart with some extra added features. That said, it doesn't mean the game is bad, it comes with all of the DLC that the Wii U version had including 200cc mode which is just insane!

I have over 300 hours into the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8, and I can honestly say that the new battle mode, characters, and kart are worthy of double dipping on this amazing game! This is a must have Switch game for anyone who has Nintendo's latest console/handheld console!

I could play this game for hours! They have incorporated old maps that bring nostalgia while giving the game a revamped feel and look!

So much fun to play. Can play alone or with another person

This was an excellent title for Nintendo to port over to the Switch. it has everything I enjoyed about the Wii U version, plus the added portability of the switch and a new battle mode! The portability of the Switch makes impromptu games with friends possible, and very fun!

We pre-ordered the switch and were so excited when it came out. We bought Zelda and were deep into it when Mario Cart was released which meant it set on the shelf for a while but once we got to it we enjoyed it as well. Great for any smaller guests we may have visiting us.

Hilarious fun game that takes me back to my youth when playing mario kart on n46. It can get repeptitve for sure with racing the same tracks over and over, or with what tends to happen past the half way point in a race. I am nit picking though, highly enjoyable game.

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch! It’s a great game and Best But is the best. They price match too! This game has hours of endless fun for family and everyone to enjoy.

Great game but overpriced. Not going to ding it in rating due to price because that is how every game is so you can either buy it or not. Does have different levels and skills so it doesn't get boring.
