So much fun. My favorite Mario Kart to date. Fun to play alone or with friends

I loved this game on the wii u, and the switch upgrade looks better, has more features, but most importantly the portability is wonderful (and makes me feel like I'd likely be suckered into picking up other straight ports of games I own for the sake of the portability alone).

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is easily the most feature packed game in the series, now with all the DLC tracks (48 tracks in the game altogether!!), a new Battle Mode (finally), and three new characters. Here's hoping they bring back the kart sharing feature from Double Dash someday.

This is the game to get for them. I bought a Nintendo switch for the living room because before they would bug me everyday to play Xbox one and I've finally had enough of plugging and unplugging cables.. so I bought the Nintendo switch with Mario Kart 8 and end of story.

What more is there to say about one of Nintendo’s top selling stories franchises. This is a top flight Nintendo game. In addition, the game was great for getting my 4 year old daughter into the world of Mario.

if you've liked any of the previous games or if you're just a Nintendo or racing fan in general, this one is definitely worth picking up. It's a port from the Wii but with all the improvements you would expect on a new system.

Not much to add to what everyone else has already said. It's the latest Mario Kart, and they just announced that they're adding even more tracks with that $25 expansion

Mario kart is essentially the reason I wanted to buy a Switch. If this were the only game available on the console, I would probably still buy it because this simply does not get old. Great to break out when you have visitor, everybody loves playing!

This game is SO much fun! I got the little steering wheels additions separately, and were all totally addicted! This is a great game for one person, or a group. Im sure that kids absolutely love it!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe retains all the fast-paced racing action that was present in the Wii U original, but it also improves upon the Battle mode, which was sorely lacking in that game. With the new battle arenas, new items, and new characters, Mario Kart has never been better.

Nintendo took everything great about this game on the Wii U and amplified it for this version. This is one of the best multiplayer games ever and offers hours upon hours of entertainment. This is a game that shouldn't be missed even if you played it on the Wii U like I did.

Love the game! The smart-driving feature is great for when younger kids and less-experienced gamers are playing. I really like that they incorporated some older tracks into the game as well as tracks from other games (Excitebike & F-Zero).

A must buy game for the Nintendo switch. Kind of a default game that you could be playing for years to come. Has friendly settings for non gamers folks and kids as well. Just a great game.

My 5 year old nephew likes this. He isn't super coordinated yet, but the game has a feature to guide inexperience players back onto the race track if they mess up, so he is able to complete races until he gets more experienced.

Played the first MARIO karts version in the past and this one is by far the best. Been playing everyday for two weeks now and keeps getting more fun especially with how fast you can advance and get new upgrades to your kart.

When I bought my Switch, I already had Mario Kart 8 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Wii U. I immediately bought this, while BOTW took a price break to be worth the double dip. You do NOT want to run into another Switch owner and not have this game.
