We bought the switch and the game from best buy and I'm sure my son will love it. We played it on another friends console and had a blast. Buying the controller and the game was seamless and easy even during Christmas. Thanks BB!

I tried to tell my kid I played the OG one on N64 back when he was just a twinkle in my eyes and not to try me, but he did. I now get to hold the fact that his dad actually beat him in a video game over his head, lol. Best. Purchase. Ever.

I bought this game because it's Mario Kart obviously! It's the same game that everybody has known and loved for the past 20+ years and it's still just as fun as it always has been. Great game to sit down and playing with a bunch of friends or when you have a few minutes to kill.

I've bought Mario Kart 8 4x over the last 5 years. 2014 - for the WiiU 2017 - for my Nintendo Switch. For my brother. 2018 - for my nephew. I've put a lot of time into it. Getting this game into your hands as a Nintendo Switch owner should be your #1 priority.

If you own a Switch, get this. If you don't own a Switch, go buy one and get this game! I am a very very very casual gamer meaning I have zero time for playing. Since I got this game, I can't put my Switch down. My wife and I play 2+ hours a day. Reminds me of my childhood with Mario Kart 64!

Game is just a classic. Have so many different characters to choose from and can customize your kart. I love how you can play with friends online. A good amount of game modes to choose from. I wouldn't change anything about this game.

Mario kart 8 for wii U was phenomenal, MK8 deluxe is just a little bit more fun. If you bought MK8 and all the DLC, tbe only new things to deluxe are, 2 new characters, inking boy/girl You can now hold 2 items at once, and maybe a battle arena or two But overall still a great value

This was a very fun and easy game to learn how to play. I’ve never played it before until this month.

It had been quite a bit since I played a Mario Kart title and I must say that I had an absolute blast with it. This Deluxe version for the Switch looks incredibly vibrant and it certainly reminded me of all the fun the series has provided me with over the years.

Great Mario Kart! The graphics are amazing and new features such as anti-gravity mode make for the most high-flying racing action in the series' history. The battle mode though is not that great. Its anyways the same great game to bring the family together!

We loved Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. On the surface, this would seem to be the same game with some additional DLC, but it's really so much more. While it retains the same fun and thrills of the Wii U game, the graphics are improved, game play is smoother - it's just so much more enjoyable!

This game is wonderful. I admit I never played the original on the Wii U but with this, who cares? It has all the content plus more added on. Can't complain about that. The gameplay is superb as always since Nintendo has basically perfected the Mario Kart mechanic down to perfection.

If you haven't played MK8 on Wii U, this is your chance. Go for it. Best MK yet. It is especially great with the Switch. You can play local 2 player anywhere. I just wish tracks and characters were locked. It defeats the purpose of playing single player when everything is already available.

Fun game, especially with 4 players. My wife bought a Nintendo Switch and since I have the old Wii U, I figured I would buy this game to play on the switch. There is new maps that I have never seen before on this game

Very fun. Played mostly handheld so far with joy cons and love it. Old courses are awesome. Just got expansion pack so now even more courses to try.

Love the game. Multiple tracks to race is awesome. Also enjoy racing others online.

Super fun game to play with family and friends! I would highly suggest buying the pro controllers to play because the ergonomic design leaves less tension in your hands after long rounds of racing. Have fun!

Regardless of age, we all love this game. Best multiplayer game out there in my opinion. No swearing or violence, just a riot of fun and so many different courses for difficulty and variety. You can't go wrong on MarioKart!

Great improvement over the original! The original version of this was great in it's own right they were just a few shortcomings, this deluxe version made the necessary improvements to make this a must buy. I highly recommend you get this it's a great game to play by yourself or with friends.
