This is a decent MK, there is a great feature that makes it so young kid don't have to worry about falling of the track or even have to a press a button to go forward, all they have to do is steer. The problem with this is MK doesn't allow for profiles so every time my wife and I play with our kids we have to shut those settings up because we like the challenge. This would be a 5 star game if I didn't have to make those changes every single time I play the game.

I like that it is very fun for the entire age range. Picking different cars and accessories is nice.

Mario Kart 8 is basically Mario Kart Wii with prettier graphics and more tracks. Other than that, it did not evolve much. I really enjoyed the Wii game but this one was more of the same old or same old. I also am amazed that they still do not have a system whereby friends can play and communicate with each other like in Playstation 4 and 5. Part of the fun in multiplayer is in the communication. As it is, this game was underwhelming. Don't get me wrong. It is fun. For a while. Playstation has multiplayer done better and I find myself not playing this game much as there are so much more multiplayer games on Playstation (also require paid membership). Nintendo's basic paid membership is about twenty bucks for a year but it is barebones. They really need to up their game and improve their multiplayer aspect such as communication. I only recommend this to those who did not have the opportunity to play the Wii version that came before years ago.

Graphics are even better than the Wii U version. Silky smooth framerate both on TV and in portable mode. New battle modes are tons of fun with friends. Definitely worth doubling up on if you already own it for Wii U.

First off, I never owned the WiiU version of this. The game is fun, challenging, and in that typical Nintendo fashion, unfair every now and then. Blue shells, I'm looking at you. If you ha've a Switch, but this game.

Production and quality out of this world it’s such a fun game with multi player games

Mario Kart 8 is a great mashup of old and new! It’s got some of the great classic tracks we all know and love but also offers some new tracks designed specifically for the Switch.

This game is defintely a classic all mario fans will love. I bought it on sale from best buy for $40 because the price was the best amongst their competitors!

Exiting and fun game for the adults and the children

It's a great game, but it's also basically the same as the version we already bought for the Wii U. We even paid for the "extra levels" on this version as DLC for the original. So great game, but we've essentially paid $140 for it now.

I enjoy it. The graphics are awesome. It’s hours of family fun and arguing to see who will will the next race. Money well spent to get everyone in the same room doing something together as a group.

Aside from helping us cope being sore losers, it's fun to have shots of redemption throughout the whole game. Thankfully with time management of usage we are each able to get our practice in. ^_^

Fun game up to 4 player we purchased 2 more joy cons so all of my kids can play.

Who doesn’t love to play mario kart? This is a great game.
