My kids absolutely love this game ! You can split the controller to accomodate 2 players, tons of fun maps, tons of fun characters, highly recommended !

Great Mario Kart game but what really steps it up for me was how ridiculously accessible some of the changes have made it, You can turn on basically a bumper mode so you never steer off a cliff, auto-accelerate so you don't push buttons to go, and steer by tilting the joy-con. The combination of these mean that my 3 year old daughter can play Mario Kart and actually complete levels and have a great time racing along. She's getting a hang of using the one button she needs to press and that's to launch her items. The way this game has changed so that even someone of her age can play definitely makes it great

Classic Mario cart game remastered and perfected. More items, and more characters, it is alot of fun for 1 or 4 players.

The ultimate party game with friends! I loved playing Mario Kart as a kid on my N64 and Mario Kart 8 is a significant improvement on that! You can fly, drive underwater, and there are so many courses/ shortcuts that you feel like you're playing a new game every time!

What needs to be said about Mario Kart? If you havent played a game in this series' 25 year history then you must live under a rock. This game is well known and well loved, and for a reason. Choose between many different Mario and Nintendo characters, such as Link or Donkey Kong. Choose a vehicle. Choose a track or championship and off you go! This time around there is heated online versus competition, so hone your skills in single player or local multiplayer and go orove you are the best of the best! Great game and if you have a Nintendo Switch, this should be a required purchase.

First off, if you owned Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U like we did, I stand by my 4 star rating. If you skipped MK8, or this is your first MK title, then this game deserves a 6 star review. Our family loves racing Mario Kart. Moving from the Wii U to the Switch, this was a must have for our family. If you've played Mario Kart before, you're getting the same here (if you played on the Wii U, almost exactly the same). If this is your first Mario Kart title, this game is a blast. The Good: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a bunch of content. Out of the box you have a plenty of characters to play, a bunch of courses to race, and a lot of play styles to enjoy. I could try to list them all, but there are better wikis out there which will do a better job. One thing I really enjoy is the increase in performance over the previously owned title on the Wii U. If you've played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, you'll completely understand. If you haven't played MK8 on the Wii U, disregard the previous critique. The Bad: If you have the Wii U version, you're pretty much paying for the same game twice. The couple of extra characters (like King Boo) and the couple of new vehicles and items do at least add a little more the to game, but not enough to really feel good about it. Again, if you played before on the Wii U, there is no transferring your previous progress to this title. It's not as terrible as it reads, but it's not great either.

Mario Cart is still fun and has new courses along with the old ones. Easy to play and fun for everyone.

You really can’t go wrong with a Mario Kart game. There’s more characters, updated tracks, and just all around greatness to be experienced by everyone.

This is a re-release of the Wii U Mario Kart 8, but with all downloadable content, all characters, and a new Battle Mode option with multiple play styles. There is a control option that helps keep new players on the track that makes this game accessible to new players and little ones. Fantastic graphics, catchy music, incredible courses with waterfalls, canyons, underwater sections, wall driving... you name it, it's in here. The gameplay is fun and deep, playing more unlocks more options to customize your kart. I simply love this game. This is Nintendo firing on all cylinders. Appropriate for all ages.

Great game. It is fun for the whole family. Easy to play and kids really get into it. Can't go wrong with a classic.

Great version of Mario Kart. It is helpful to have kart items that unlock over time based on coin collected to keep engaged when there's not much in terms of linear challenge as a single-player outside of getting 3 stars on each race series across all cc levels. If I could give 1 'wish' that isn't really something Mario Kart has EVER done (nor expected by anyone), would be to create some sort of value/engagement-add by creating some purpose or directive around the single-player race series (like a Forza or any other racing game).

Our family loves this game! I like the graphics and it is easy to play. I’m not a gamer but my kids are. Highly recommend

Pros: Mario Cart is fun! Many more tracks with the Deluxe 8 edition for Nintendo Switch. Grandkids love it, especially with add-on Joy-Con Wireless Wheels Cons: Pricey

This is one of the few games that actually has me addicted! I grew up playing Mario Kart & could not be more pleased with this edition! So many fun tracks to play!!!

Mario Kart has always been a family favorite, and this latest version is the best. I love the new tracks, the control options, and customization options.

This game should be included with the console! It’s a must have for any switch. So much laughter and fun for any age!

This game is great! My son wanted this for his birthday and I love that my 3 year old can play it as well. It’s easy enough for her to be able to steer on her own.

Fun game to play with the kids. Easy to learn how to play and nothing controversial. Would buy again.
